I think this was what they salvaged of the miniseries that was supposed to be between fall and spring of season 2. I thought the episode was good, but I don't see how it possibly has much bearing on the storyline. I think that's a result of the new writers trying to figure out what to do with the mess they were handed. I think when looking at episodes individually there is an improvement which gives me hope for next season. Maybe I'm being overly optimistic.

Did anyone catch Angela's line about stealing socks?? "Any time I'm confused, I just steal socks" Explains why she was arrested for shoplifting way back in Season 1. haha.

I forgot what the line was in this episode, but it felt like they were just trying to make sense of the mess of the last season and a half. It felt just like a comic book, when the fans reject a writer's arc, so they have to reset the status quo and bring everything back to when the book was successful.

I liked that, it struck me as odd her shoplifting back in season one and then seeing her role expanded in two. So it was neat that they tied it together like that.

Yeah, like the socks thing. That was cool.

I also liked the ending with Sylar as Nathan!! Reminded me of Mystique in the first X-Men movie. Way cool!

Ok, another MAJOR plot hole or whatever you wanna call it. Maybe I missed this somewhere along the last few episodes, but how the hell is Peter touching people and not taking their powers??!! Did he all of a sudden figure out how to not take their powers while touching? WTF is going on??!! I love this show, but the stupidity is starting to get to me.

It seems like something did happen earlier in the season that indicated Peter had figured out how to touch people and not take their power, however it didn't make any sense at the time. I was wondering why he didn't just borrow Nathan's power so he could fly himself instead of being carried like Lois Lane.

Because he didn't want to lose the mind reading power that he had.

I fell asleep a couple of times during this episode, although the beginnings of the Company was kind of interesting. They created a mutant hunting club to keep the mutants secret. It does make sense when looked at in that way. They were always about observation rather than putting them down. I can see our main heroes reforming the company to start doing the same thing.

I forgot mind reading is his current ability, I can see how that would be preferable to flying.

My question is when is Peter gonna get back his multi-power capability? If I were him I'd be touching Claire! Oh..and I wouldnt mind getting her power either :naughty

It is just not living up to its original greatness imo. I tune in still not really knowing why since each episode doesn't seem to interest me that much. digging up all those bodies seemed like a big waste of time they could of used elsewhere. it did nothing to advance the story. I thought it was going to be a much grander secret- than just her missing sister. the base was a nice touch but could have been done without all the digging and dragging out. I see why Darklord dave fell asleep. :lol

Last week's Alice camp episode was horrendous-- This week?

Ron Howard's brother.

Sylar goes Psycho (literally... Norman Bates).

Some good... Some bad... Only one episode remains.

I thought it was pretty good. It's really lost any semblance of moving in a single direction.

I liked tonight's episode...
Things are getting a bit interesting...
Unfortunately I don't expect a huge season finale...
I hope next season they address a bunch of the forgotten plots...
Super Soldiers(was that it?), Future deadly virus (Peter's girlfriend?), Ando killing Hiro...
etc.

Wow, awesome freaking episode!!!! One of the very best in a long while.

I was flipping out when Sylar helped Micha and absolutely loved it when Sylar came back alive after getting the knife to the "death spot". That was dope!!!!

Argh, sucks only one more episode until a big break!!!!

The season has turned around for me... I could live if it doesn't come back next year. But at least for now the episodes are interesting and don't feel as hack as we've seen.

The Sylar and his mom stuff was actually pretty good. Didn't realize she was Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors... I knew I recognized her, but couldn't place the actress.

:lol Awesome... Thanks for that!

The break will be good though, I think we've seen an improvement under the new writers so letting them plan a full volume should make for a good season.

She was Vivian on Pushing Daisies too.

Sylar and his mom issues definitely keep upping the creepy quotient. I was worried for a second that they were going to swing him back to the good side when he helped Micah.

Yeah, it was nice that he had a spot of good (didn't think they'd actually kill that kid)... then back to being evil.
