Never easy following something when you miss the start is it? be sure to let us know what you think when you do see it.

Personally, I hope we're wrong as there's nothing worse than a whodunnit where the killer is so obvious you start to question the intelligence of the protagonist.

I don't think Gretchen killed the roommate as that would have been too obvious (although that could still easily be the case even though Claire decided that it was suicide by falling into the same spot) but the preview makes it look like she might be a part of the carnival crew who was asked to get close to Claire.

But right at the end wasn't that Claire on the carnival womans back? i couldn't tell tbh but it looked like her and if it was that would mean they have only just learned about her existence?

I saw Claire, Sylar and Peter on the tattooed lady's back but I'm not 100% on it being Claire. I guess it could have also been Tracy.

BTW, did anyone else get the Marx Bros. reference in that episode? Lydia, the tattooed lady? I couldn't get that song out of my head once I made the connection.

Yep that's why i wasn't sure i'm putting the dvd back in to have a closer look.

I am surprised no one has brought the season premier up yet tonight. I guess that speaks volumes about how far it has fallen.

I wondered the same thing; I actually tried to find the thread last night, but was unable to locate it

I had pretty much sworn off the show after sitting though the crapfest that was last season. But, last night I didn't even realize it was on until I saw an add about 15 minutes earlier... so I tuned in.

It was actually pretty good; not sure how all the parts are going to fit yet, but I can at least say I'm interested.

But a few things I wasn't completely sold on:
1) The tattoo powers just seem kind of dumb... so is the power to manipulate ink? And what part is T-Bag, and what part is the chick in the prediction or identification of people?

2) The super fast... yet shown in blurry slow-mo fighting of Ray Park. That just looks really dumb, and doesn't (at least to me) give a sense of anything special happening.

3) Can't they just kill Claire already... just a waste of a character at this point.

I thought the blurry slow motion was supposed to show that he's moving so fast that even in slow motion his movements are a blur of speed.

I'm pretty sure that was Claire on Lydia's back.

And is it just me or they setting up for HRG and Tracy to have a romantic relationship. That just doesn't fit to me.

I guess this tottoo power is just the replacment of the painting guy that was in the other seasons. Also the needle probably doesn't work unless t-bag is the one that uses it.

They were talking about it being time to gather the others or something to that effect which the three faces were showing who they were talking about. I didn't take that as the first that they knew of them.

True, but they didn't know Hiro, so it could go either way. In the scenes from the season they showed at the end it did seem as if Gretchen is a plant and isolating Claire, but that may not be the case, she could be just a tool one of the carnies is using.

I need to re-watch last season's finale though... there were a few things I forgot completely about...
I actually liked the Sylar-Parkman storyline... should be interesting...

True, but he (t-Bag's character, can't remember his name) did ask who the tattoo was off and the lady told him Hiro's name. He didn't do that at the end so they could already know who the others are which if Gretchen is weaseling into Claire's life would make sense. It is very open to interpretation.

Yeah that's true but the only way we are going to know for sure is by seeing the next episode shame it's a week away.
