Time to do some of my own resurrecting! :emperor

So....Noah is my first thought of the shooter and Claire's feelings don't really come into thought because she is his first priority and he could care less about Nathan.

Adam is well kept so my guess is that with Nathan at death's door, Peter will want his blood to save his brother and use Matt/Molly to find Hiro to find Adam and so springing Adam from his eternal prison....its a good idea as a death alternative because Adam will be trapped forever never dying and even unable to take his own life by inflicting a severe brain trauma.

The season itself seemed rushed, just finished it via TiVo but a few things stick out in my mind. We never learn the generational powers of the Petrelli Parents (Angela or Arthur) or even Kaito..... Peter mimics any power that he comes in contact with....meaning Charles Deveaux must have had a power dealing with memory infusion or something along those lines since Peter had a vision in where he could see what occur where he wasn't and take to Charles in it.....one would assume that Angela or Arthur would have some sort of precognition similar to Isaac's without having to paint it out since if you remember Peter says that he could see Nathan's accident even before he knew it happened and felt it...this ability surfaced 6 months before meeting Deveaux.....but who it belonged to isn't remotely clear.

No clue about Kaito though and I'm assuming that Victoria Pratt could possibly be a human without abilities since even in a life/death situation she showed no ability at all....but the fact we never found out much about those generations possibly due to the Writer's strike is annoying beyond belief.

As for Caitlin one would assume that she would be stuck in an alternative form of the future but one would question how much memory would she have? She would have the memory of Peter Petrelli and in theory could find him and reconnect, its only a year away....she would in fact exist feeling as if she lost a year of her life back in Ireland but would she remember the alternative 2008 where the Shanti virus ravaged the human race?

Maya's storyline was amazingly unfinished and one would assume this would be a deadly power for Sylar to acquire which seems to be the way its heading....as for Monica, she served her purpose of fufilling the "St. Joan" portion of 9th Wonders but her, Micah and Niki's usefulness in the show has expired.....I think they'll be phased out especially with creator Tim Kring saying that the story he has in mind will continue whether or not beloved heroes have apart in the process.

As much as I like Hiro, his usefulness has passed as well and in fact he has become more of a threat than anything else since he is constantly traveling through time and coming in contact with multiple things that would essentially effect future events like meeting his former self, etc.

I'm dying to see what comes from Volume Three: Villains and hoping that when Season 2 is released on DVD some explanations are included.

Well Monica/Micah/Ginnikessica should all die. Any of their characters were useless. The way they killed DL was so lame, that I instantly disliked anybody associated to him.

I believe it was said earlier, that Mama Petrelli has the power of persuasion, when she touches you. As for Peter wanting to find Adam to get his blood, that's a possibility, or he'll try to get claire. and wouldn't peter's blood help his brother, or he can't pass on the powers he absorb, kinda small plot hole there.

Noah, my favorite character on the show always interacts with clair, my least favorite character on the show; which always irkes me. she's the only character that really hasn't changed between the first two seasons. she changed over the course of the first season, but then went right back to where she was at the beginning of the first season when season two started. all her "i want a normal life, blah blah blah" is really lame and retarded. Guess what sweetheart, you aren't normal, you can't have a normal life, get over it. i really hope they start writing her better.

As for caitlyn, since they stopped the "future" from happening, she probably won't remember anything about peter, since that future wouldn't have happened. I hate paradox futures like that in time-travel stories.

The only reason I'm looking forward to volume 3 is to see if they redeem themselves. if it's like volume 2, I'm done with the show.

I'm assuming people are assuming that Angela has the power of persuasion because of that scene with Nathan's wife. The thing is if you watch that scene again you see that she basically feeds Heidi the same lie that she fed her boys about the delusions of grandeur...she puts it out there that this news cannot get out and thats it. Those who still remember Eden when she used her powers a small noise was heard and the person would twist their head with the fact that an idea was put into their heads....none of this occurred with Heidi. Also creator Tim Kring said "Hardcore fans will know what Angela's powers are if they pay attention to Peter".....Peter has never shown the Persuasion ability.....

He won't try to get Claire because of his company....he'll be acting fast because Nathan is near death and Peter or Matt have no clue that Claire's blood does that same thing but Peter witnessed Adam do it already. He won't even think of Claire because he'll be pressured.

Peter wouldn't have this ability because he can only mimic the power, he doesn't have it. He absorbs how to do it and can recall the power at will. He doesn't actually have the power he is doing a power mimic similar to the wake Monica can do muscle mimickery. When you take Peter's blood its still Peter's blood with the ability to mimic nothing else.....for his blood to take on Claire's/Adam's healing properties it'd have to change completely then hold that particular DNA/Biological status outside of his body......if he could do that it'd be a major plot hole.

Yea, I suppose that makes sense. If peter were to have everybody's power and THEN pass it on, that wouldn't make much sense and give him a god-like persona.

Not to mention Claude said "Oh you're one of them" indicating his power, he isn't unique meaning that if he could do that it'd be like have supermutants amongst the regular muties and humans....talk about confusing levels and one sided battles...

He's one character I wish would return, I miss Claude

Who is Claude again?

And with the whole Claire wanting to be normal, I swallowed her desire to be normal and have a normal life a little more so than Sue Storm wanting a normal life in FF2:ROTSS. But it was definitely a wrong direction to take her in, especially after she said she wanted to start going on patrols in the first season.

Claude is the Invisible Man. His name actually was ironically Claude Rains, whether or not that was his real name its the only name everyone kept calling him by. For those who don't know Claude Rains is the name of the actor who played the Invisible Man in the 1933 film.

As for Claire, she was just filling the typical teenage angst where she feels outcasted by her power instead of empowered by them like West did. I like that they took this route because if she becomes a major player in the Heroes crew the growth seems more gradual.....its about time though in Season 3 that she starts really kicking ass...

My favorite part was one of the comments at the bottom. "Looks like someone asked Hayden out last year and got rejected." :rotfl

Just read this:

Universal Studios Home Entertainment has announced they will release 'Heroes: Season One' and 'Heroes: Season Two' for Blu-ray on August 26th. The first season was released on DVD and HD DVD last August, and the second season will be released on Blu-ray day-and-date with the DVD release. No specs or extras have been announced at this time.

The 'Heroes: Season Two' release will be the first global release on Blu-ray for Universal, indicating that it will be available in all territories on August 26th. This also places the previous seasons in the hands of fans a few days before the proposed start of the third season of the popular television series.

No word on whether 'Heroes: Season One' will be a port of the previous HD DVD release, or if it will be optimized for Blu-ray. We'll post more details on all the upcoming Universal titles when they come available.

I've been waiting for Heroes on Blu-Ray for a while now.....was seriously disappointed when I saw it was only done on HD. Will definitely be nabbing both of these without question

Well I offically now have no reason to keep my HD player. Think I could get $125 for that, Heroes and 3 over flicks? :lol

Brea Grant Joins Heroes
Source: TV Guide May 5, 2008

TV Guide reports that Brea Grant, who played Landry's short-lived rebound girl on "Friday Night Lights," is joining the cast of "Heroes" next season as The Speedster.

She is expected to play Joy, who is "quick on her feet — and adept at getting herself into and out of trouble."

Interesting to see if they can pull themselves out from the disappointment that many felt about Season 2.....TV Guide has said the show has already jumped the shark. I loved Season 2 but I've been graded to fanboy status.

Season 2 definitely wasn't as good as 1 to me, but I thought it was still really good and enjoyed it. I think that the producers recognized the second season was lackluster and are making a conscious effort to change that is a good thing. Hopefully they can do it.

Tim Kring fully admitted the ball was dropped in Season 2 and said that the Writer's strike just made things worse. He is completely focused on Season 3 and that can be only a good thing.
