Since they made him a CLOCK repairman, I think it can be derived that he just notices the mechanics of how the brain uses the powers and can learn how to use them himself.

That is always what I assumed until I read that "brain eating" thing a couple of times. After reading Kring's comment (thank, Dave) I'm glad that's the case.

"that sucked." "it was disappointing." "why did they to "

~just getting ready to say that after tonight's episode

It was an ok finale, certainly better than last year, but still not terribly satisfying. Just like the rest of this season, you could pretty much see what was gonna happen coming from a mile away. You knew Nathan was gonna get shot the moment he mentioned a press conference.

I don't think Heroes is about what happens but more about consequences. $20 says that it was Bob that called the hit and Noah that carried it out though. And how about how cold Hiro was to Adam/Kensei. Man, I hope the writers demands are met because I cannot wait for Volume 3.

I will eat my humble pie and say that was a pretty good finale. I NEVER thought that Noah was the guy who killed Nathan, DUH, pretty obvious wasn't it? I thought Sylar because the assassin (or the guy walking away towards the end) had Sylar looking clothes. Since Ginnkessica is dead, hopefully they will leave monica and micah alone, they were the most boring part of the first two volumes IMO.

With a third volume called "VILLANS" hopefully we will get some more baddies. Anybody venture a guess on who it was mama petrelli was talking to on the phone?

Nathan as the shooter makes perfect sense, although would he do that to Claire? And does Peter's blood heal others since he has Claire's powers?

And how cruel is that to bury someone alive for what could be centuries?

What about Caitlin? Since the future she's in never comes to pass, does she disappear? Or is she alive in the future?

I was hoping it was Maya and Monica that would be killed. I feared it might be Elle. Anyhoo - I thought it was an okay finale for a rushed and only okay mini-season. It seems Kring knows what went wrong and he's prepared to fix it.

I thought that was actually quite foolish of Hiro. I assume that Adam can not die unless beheaded nice take off highlander. He has nothing but time on his hands so getting out a grave would not be that large of a challenge eventually he will break free. He may be bound by a lack of oxygen then he will just die and if the coffin is ever opened he will spring back to life. He could also in theory die over and over and over each time getting closer and closer to getting out of the grave. Since his blood doesn't only seem to be able to heal the living but bring people back from the dead I am not sure where they are going to go with this.

I really didn't care for the season finale... it felt rushed (and probably was due to the strike). But everything just kinda happened and I found myself not really caring.

Also, wasn't a fan of the season montage at the end... overall the finale felt a bit hammed and not up to the quality I was hoping for.

Either way, definitely looking forward to the next ones, this just felt like a write-off season.

I'd like to share my favorite part of ANY Heroes season...:drool :love

As for the season finale it was decent, not great just decent.

Assuming you meant Noah not Nathan, it would be rather hard to shoot yourself and not be seen...:lol

That's why when Hiro first disappeared with Adam I figured he was going to drop him in the FUTURE. Perhaps thousands of years in the future, where there's nothing but uninhabitable Earth. There definitely would be no coming back from that one.

But then, that's the point. We WANT Adam to come back, if for no other reason than he's now one of the very few characters on the show who isn't a complete whining puss.

I agree. I think adam was an interesting and a character that we never truly understand, whose motives weren't 100% revealed (until yesterday, which I still don't think we know everything) and I liked it. Hopefully he will come back.

BUT...when they locked him up, why didn't they just chop off his head and be done with it? Did they "founders" need his blood to keep themselves alive? If he was so "dangerous", then why even have him alive. Did I miss this?

That's what I was wondering. If the virus was never released then that future she is in never happened. So where is she? Not that I care enough about here to actually want her back on the show, but she has been left behind in a timeline that was ultimately prevented from ever existing.

I would say that she would still be stuck in the alternate timeline.

The finale did seem a little rushed and unfinished to me, but I'm sure that is because of the strike. If I recall correctly wasn't the change written like the night before the strike or something?

And I'm actually a little disappointed that Niki is dead, I think she showed potential at the beginning of the season w/o the other personalities and when they decided to bring that back it sucked. But if it was going to be Niki and half dozen others in the same body or no Niki at all I'm glad she's dead.

As for Adam, I think Hiro did what he did for the same reason no super heroes ever kill the villain.
