I didn't think the much ballyhooed return of Bryan Fuller would make much difference, but I was quite wrong. This was a very good episode. The lack of Claire probably made a huge difference, and I don't think I rolled my eyes once while watching this ep.

And Noah's ever-shifting loyalties better have a great payoff - because right now they don't make a lot of sense. Same with Nathan's.

Are you talking about him turning Angela in? I don't think that was a loyalty shift, I think he used her to keep himself in good graces and knew she would be able to keep a step ahead of them. Unless I missed something (which is very possible).

Well, we don't really know that where his loyalty lies - he's obviously not fully behind the government initiative yet he's willing to screw over any Hero except Claire. I'm just hoping they pay off all this back and forth.

I think he wants to keep the bad ones locked up. He's just willing to screw over any good ones he needs to in the process.

But I agree the back and forth is a bit much.

I have to agree. I thought it was a great episode overall. I'm also glad that Matt can't really fly. :lol It was great how they did Daphne's death.

Yeah, that actually ended up being a pretty powerful scene. Just funny that it went from "wft", to damn that's really sad and touching :monkey2

Apologies if this has been mentioned before, but has anyone else heard the rumours that Hayden P. is trying to get Milo V's character, Peter Petrelli, written out of the show? Apparently, their relationship didn't pan out (gee, what a surprise!) and they broke up in February. Ever since then, she's been hassling the producers to kill off Peter so that she doesn't have to see Milo or share any scenes with him again.

Given the choice, I'd much rather we lost Claire.

And can someone explain how Mrs. Petrelli's powers work? If she's supposed to be as powerful, if not moreso than Matt Parkman, then why didn't she just use the ol' jedi mind trick to fool her pursuers, rather than hiding in an elevator shaft? She could have also used those powers to convince her friend to give her her money and car keys without begging.

She doesnt have Matt Parkman's powers. She only has the power to dream the future. The rest is just being cunning, smart and resourceful. As far as I know anyway.

Ripped of straight from Superman Returns. . . .

Yeah except the fact that it was all inside thier heads. Which means its perfectly exceptable to have a scene straight out of a movie....since Matt Parkmen could have seen that movie and reinacted it for Daphne.

I think that's a good analysis of his character's motivation. He sees the need to lock up the loaded guns that are willing to use their powers for nefarious reasons and the only way to do so is to keep some form of "the company" (that he was a part of and knew that was doing some good) going.

El Skutto, I knew that they broke up but I hadn't heard that rumour. I'd pick keeping Peter over Claire as well...

I finally saw this episode!
Man it was great!! Finally I can bare to watch without cringing!!
I've never really cared a lot about Parkman, but this episode made me feel for the dude... nicely done...
Also, never cared about Tracy but this was also an awesome way of letting the character go... nice!
I'm glad Micah is back, awesome character IMO!
Great show, can't wait to see how things develop!

Good episode... Not as good as last week, but still... Never knew Sylar would fit into a body bag. :naughty

Enjoy.

Last week's episode was actually good. Heroes hasn't had a good episode in a long time, and I'm actually hoping that tonight's show will be good as well. It would be a pleasant surprise for season three to end with a run of quality episodes.

From reports Fuller (the original writer who came back) isn't as involved in these final five episodes (as much as he was in last week's episode that was so good) but tonight's is pretty good. Lots of action and a few neat special effects moments (and some interesting character twists).

Claire rips her top off too...:naughty:lol

:lol Neil your little hints make me laugh. Especially when they involve Claire, you dirty scoundrel.

I too enjoyed this episode, seems like they've got a definite direction they are going in. And I liked the use of the 60's music in it. Even if this season still comes out low I'm starting to have high hopes for next season. After all the new writers inherited a bit of a mess, so if they do a halfway decent job finishing the season I think they can do well with a full one.

Decent episode... not as entertaining as the last one but still solid.

I could have done without the "your supposed to be Superman" conversation though

Anybody know what that song Sylar said he liked while he was in the car? I know it, but can't figure ot out and the song's stuck in my head now:banghead

edit - found it

Del Shannon - Runaway

Good episode, the Syler scenes were great, as always. I think it's gonna be cool seeing Peter, Nathan, Claire, and Angela all together next episode.

I really liked this episode - some great character moments between Claire and Nathan, our 2 bad guys and even Peter and his mom. For the first time this season I'm actually looking forward to next week's episode.
