Hey guys, is your wife or girlfriend supportive of your hobby?

My wife or really my fiance puts up with me, I think it's because of the space issue though, I need to get new curios and make it look nicer and then she's more likely to accept them... She does think there are a few ugly pieces but she really doesn't know these characters besides movie characters such as Joker, Batman, Iron Man, Hulk, F4, etc..

My GF would rather buy me a guitar than a collectible any day of the week. She is supportive but even I can recognize that this hobby is ridiculous. Buying a 12 inch piece of plastic for $150 or more or buying a statue for $300 + is pretty insane when you think about it.

She pretends they don't exist. Seriously though, she's cool with it because she doesn't live at my place. If we were to move in together, she would probably have a problem with it because of the space issue. (just wanted to blow the dust off this old thread=)

Not really. I've been collecting Transformers for...ever. She has tolerated it but has no clue how much I actually spend. I've only recently gotten into Hot Toys figures. Unfortunately, playing catch up is NOT cheap. I remember buying V1 Joker with the DX01 head sculpt and some accessories added in for under $100. Then I sold it off and want to buy it again now but ya...won't get that deal again.
