I'm no longer allowed to bring my collectibles to bed with us

So now I sleep on the couch :yess:

TAKE THAT BEEEOOTCH!

My girl doesn't care, she always tells me she loves the kid in me. I'm mean c'mon, my 1:1 Predalien bust is displayed on the kitchen table

I meant allowed in the sense that it doesnt cause a row. I dont complain about the amount of handbags in the house, She doesnt moan about my toys..i mean collectables.
At 39 yrs old I can do pretty much what I want in my own house.

We talk about what goes on display in "our" house.
Partnership and all that! No macho Victorian master of the house bs here!
:lecture

The woman in my house keeps on asking when the next dollie is coming. She always sits next to me watching me unbox. She watches me pose. Sometimes says "Turn the head a little more" or "Move the arm up a bit".

Life is cool sometimes.

My wife likes it when I bring Ram Man to bed.

She's lying...

Heck, not only is she supportive, The Missus bought me my first two big Sideshow statues ... the Darkness PF and the Jaws Maquette.

She actually loves this stuff! She's a HUGE Indy fan, HUGE LotR fan, big Nolan/Batman fan, etc., etc. We try to go to a movie every week and we have alarmingly similar taste.

She really enjoys the stuff I haul home, even if she's not much of a collector herself. (Though I guarantee all of that would change in a heartbeat if somebody would FINALLY get a proper Buckaroo Banzai license and put out some decent merch!)

I'm not gonna say we're perfect for each other, but, one year for Christmas I bought her a sword ... and she bought me an Xbox.

Because she thought I WASN'T PLAYING ENOUGH VIDEO GAMES.

:yess::inlove

My wife is very cool with it.

On more than one occasion I've said "Wish I would've picked that up back then... Wish I would've known about that when it was available..." and a day or two later I find out she's tracking a dozen auctions on ebay.

The other one she's famous for is I'll say "It costs --- in the secondary market. You can't possible get it for that price." "Oh yeah?" and she'll find a bargain.

See here's the problem: You two are confusing "Agreed" with "Allowed". Two completely different things.

I'm not confusing it at all. I think you guys are.

"Honey, I'm going to move all my toys into the living room. Put up shelves and display them there...."

"NO, YOU'RE NOT!"

What are you going to do.......?

Can you tell I'm bored? :D
