dude, so what if he wants to have a rant...
look at the "know it all" geeks jumping in like wolves to laugh at him.
I didnt know Sideshow could do that, so this thread has been helpful to me.

The best part of all this is I agree with the guy. Sideshow shouldn't have canceled it.:lol:lol:lol

Thanks for the support. It's ok though. I was just frustrated by the cancellation and I busted that anger nut three pages ago. If Sideshow wants to cancel my order and sell the item for less money to a retailer, let em. Odds are I can pick up this figure for way less than retail from a desperate board member later.

There's a lot of "blood in the water" mentality on this board. For the most part I just ignore it, because usually I am not in the middle of it. It's just a forum. I have a real life outside of this place so it doesn't hurt my feelings.

I do too, but I prefer not to get involved.

I find it funny that all of you have a problem with me starting this thread. When something happens to one of your orders, you have no problem complaining about it. Then you come in other people's threads and call them "whiners." I expect this from Shai, at least he is professionally evil, and excels at being an a s s. The rest of you are just posers. (Love you Shai)

So I guess Sideshow should just go full communist, and limit every product they sell to one per person? Get real. Should I cancel my two orders for Iron Man mark III because some guy just found out about it? Maybe I should cancel both mark I orders, both orders for Dutch, Blaine and the Predator. I wouldn't want someone late to the game to have to miss out.

Better idea, let those f'ers go somewhere else and preorder, and give me the two I ordered from Sideshow. How about that? I have the resources to pay whatever I want to pay for an item, and I will order as many as I want to order. I'm not flipping them, so shut the ^^^^ up about it unless you work for Sideshow. Why do you think I posted this in the "Ask Sideshow" forum?

Because you're too lazy to follow the Customer Service link to the phone number where you can not only address the situation directly, but get some sort of resolution? :huh I think you just like to :monkey2 :monkey2 :monkey2. Here ya go:

I ordered Iron Man Mark II the first day you offered it on your site. At the time the allowance was 2 figures. I ordered two figures. I just got an email today that you cancelled one of those figures. I do understand that you have changed the allowance from 2 figures to 1 figure, but I ordered when there were two available. I think you need to honor this. Now I have to scramble to figure out where to get the second figure from. I think this is total bull.

Is this in reference to the regular figure or the exclusive? Not that I really know that answer either way (they are right, Customer Service is the way to go on this one), but if the Exclusive is what's in question, we don't sell those in bulk to retailers - the most they can buy is 1 per account, just like you guys. And we (almost) always limit the Exclusives to 1 per, unless it's a special case scenario like army building (Stormtroopers, etc).

If it's the regular edition... well, if the allotment was lowered there must be a good reason, like overselling the regular and/or Hot Toys not sending us as many as we asked for to fulfill both wholesale and retail orders.

And yes, like any company who takes Pre-Orders, we reserve the right to alter your order at any time, since we don't actually charge you anything until the item arrives (or does not arrive, in some rare cases of overselling).

But the best way to get the answer, like the guys said (some of them rather rudely :nono) is to call Customer Service, if you need an answer right away :duff

It's been established that they can change orders at any time. Sometimes it happens that the incorrect number is allowed on initial ordering.

I think we don't need to keep this open any longer.
