devilof76: I have constant ringing in my ears. I think it's related to sinusitis.

Doctor: Stop smoking.

devilof76: any other recommendations?

Doctor: you could try different earrings

That actually reminds me. I had a kind of flutter thing going on in my right ear for months, came out of nowhere. I never got it checked out. Now I'm aware I can't remember the last time I had it. Awesome.

Drug companies have saved millions of lives. Suck it up.

No, Dr. Ornish proved scientifically that diet, stress management, and moderate exercise reverses heart disease without drugs or surgery. Hippocrates thought of it first, but Dr. Ornish proved it.

Thomas Edison also thought of using food as medicine before Dr. Ornish.

Hippocrates-Let thy food be thy medicine, and thy medicine be thy food.

I thought that pasteurization just was cooking the milk which rendered the minerals inorganic and less easy to assimilate than in raw milk. There is a big difference in the calcium absorption from raw milk vs pasteurized.

I did not know that pasteurization actually removed nutrients.

The nutrients removed are enzymes,Vitamins and minerals during the pasturization process which is why they have to add back the vitamins. The package will tell you it was fortified with vitamins added.

Of course there is. However, I don't think medicine is separated into camps of diet vs. pharmaceutical. I think the two camps are more akin to naturalist/anti-industrial medicine, and rational treatment based on the best available means.

Drugs are a "very temporary" Solution, they are not to be used for the rest of your life (especially to stay healthy).Nutrition is always the key to good health and the body going through the healing process

Nope. We've officially entered the tinfoil hat zone, and I'm not entertaining that horse****. Game over.

You sound pretty unintelligent when you call yourself a Nephilim :cuckoo: because it seems you need to make fun of things to try to get your point across which actually makes you sound stupid.People insult others because they are defeated in arguement. You know in your heart that Nutrition is RIGHT and majority of the time, the answer to good health.

Did it seem like you can hear yourself breathing through your ear?

:lol Nice

I can't say for the rest but I do agree with this.

27,
and it is high... (like really)

For blood pressure:

  • Loose weight,
  • reduce carbs and eat more protein (carbs cause water retention, protein reduces water retention)
  • Ditch the salt shaker
  • Have your estrogen levels checked, if they are too high, doc can prescribe something for that
  • Eat more potassium (Bananas)
  • Cut out stimulants like coffee and tea
  • Lift weights - blood pressure drops for 24-48 hours after

Other things to consider
  • If your arms are unusually large, check the doctor's phygmamoter, it may not be meant for large arms and give false readings
  • Pee before getting blood pressure checked. It can make quite a difference.

Plenty more suggestions online but if you cannot control it, then get on medication.

No, it was like the sound of a moth circling a lightbulb, like tiny wings fluttering deep inside my ear. You know the sound made when your ears pop from a shift in altitude/air pressure? Like that but heaps of them close together and I'd only get it when laying on one side. I guessed it was maybe a tiny amount of fluid in the canal or something, but nothing that'd be removed with a q-tip and nothing that my medico old man could see with an auriscope. The next step was an ENT specialist, but it wasn't hurting or anything... just distracting while watching late night telly.

And now it's gone. Must be thanks to my awesome diet :yess:

:goodpost::lecture:lecture:lecture:lecture

especially in the Winter time when your Vitamin D levels become low in your body from lack of Sun.

Vitamin D is also your Flu Shot (not the unproven man made Gov. **** shot filled with Mercury,Formaldehyde, and thermisol that they sell you at pharmacies) and Vitamin D is just another defense against Cancer and other diseases

So is hemp oil.

Diet will always be cheaper than medication and surgery.

And I don't know what medieval backwater you live in, but most doctors prescribe lifestyle changes to chronically unhealthy patients. Then again, I live in an extremely sophisticated region of the county.

You must be wicked smawt! You must have da hoppa! :yess:

I think the truth is somewhere between the two camps. The "rational treatment" you speak of is a business and it requires profit to succeed. That's all fine and good, but an uninformed consumer can easily be taken advantage of.

Of course the same is true of the "naturalist" products out there. And some of it is snake oil.

I just think each kind of treatment has it's place. When my mom had cancer she did all the "rational treatment" (chemo, etc.), but she was juicing and supplementing like a fiend through all of it too. I believe the good results she got (remission and a relatively comfortable treatment period) was due to her educating herself about both "camps" and actually following up with action.

Lifestyle change is always the first thing prescribed by a doctor. Unfortunately it's the one thing patients choose not to hear.

This is absolute truth. Most patients want an easy fix that doesn't require changes on their part.

Thank you, voice of reason.

There is nothing like being called unintelligent by someone who believes that aliens are fallen angels pulling the strings of the world's puppet governments. Reptilian jewish bankers from Mars, right?

All hail Zion. :rock

Nutrition is the foundation of health. I see nothing to dispute there.

What I take issue with is the defamation of an entire profession as profiteering killers because they're not omniscient healers, by people who couldn't pass a medical board to save their life.

I'm sure most doctors got into the profession out of a real desire to help people. However the biased influence of drug companies on doctors and their education is a valid concern.

Why do you think that a genuine desire to help people, and a genuine desire to be paid what their skills are worth, are not compatible motives?

There's a kid in my son's daycare named Zion, he's my son's best friend (both 1.5 years old)....should I be concerned?

When did I say that? I'm a licensed massage therapist with a genuine desire to help people, but I don't work for free, and neither should they.

I do think Doctors and hospitals are overpaid, but that's not what this conversation is about.

My bigger concern is what they are taught. Case in point, they may genuinely believe that colesterol should be lower than 200, but is it possible that has something do with their education coming from Lipitor funded research?
