What was the final comment in the other thread? And yes, they were freaky.
I don't think we saw the real deal. Looked like CGI. My bet is they had some hologram but CGIed over it for the TV viewers. No way could they look that good.

Was it real hologram? I am not so sure sine it looked so good. Anyways, if it real, then I guess in about 5 years we can buy a wrist watch version like the one arnold used in total recall. that would be cool 
So basically she was in a green screen room surrounded by hi def cameras that were controlled in the studio to sync up with the cameras in the studio. It's not like her image was beamed in front of Wolf like she was actually there.

A shame, too, because the Obama acceptance speech was quite inspiring.

I loved that she mentioned Princess Leia. It was better than seeing her stand with a bunch of people eyeing the camera and mouthing "hi mom."
That's not what wolf says.
Yeah,that isn't what he says.He clearly "says" that he can see her in front of him.

Um, its a composite, not a hologram. A hologram is when she is actually on set. Wolf could not see her, that's why he was looking at the camera. Wow, big woop.
