actually seeing your in edmonton, shipping is super cheap through SSC and brokerage is only like $10+gst through Fedex is you set up an account. most pieces are $25 shipping plus $10 and GST, can beat that.

I already have an account with fedex. Do I call SSC to link my fedex account to my SSC account?

This piece looks awesome, even with the 'glow effect.'

BUT, I have to admit with as much as Sideshow is releasing, it's almost TOO much. It's probably crazy for me to say that, but I've already moved on to the Hulk PF at this point.

Yeah this is looking like one of the best Comic Cons in a while. Hadn't bought too much this year until CC started.

Galactus is my big purchase.....so far.

Galactus looks amazing, but there's so much awesomeness I'll have to limit myself here.

So far I think it'll be Hulk, if anything. I was really hoping for something Spider-Man related, but I can't complain.

OK I just called sideshow and asked if this statue is going to be an open ES or not.

And their answer: unfortunately we don't know yet whether this will be an open ES or not, we can't confirm it right now.

Based on that response, I took it as this will indeed be an open ES.

So I went ahead and asked them to cancel my order and demanded my NRD back. And they did.

Good to know you can cancel this without penalty due to the possible open edition size.

If anyone is not a fan of unlimited and open edition sizes, this is a good way to let them know how you feel. Anyways, you can always order it much later it will still be in stock.

It's just getting the license and not entirely about the money. None of those large licenses will even look at you unless you have an established record.

The talent is easy. All you need is to hire for an AP sculpt + paint, then the chinese factory takes care of the rest.

Well said, talent and mass production factories can be hired with money but the rep is what gets you the licence.

the ' collect for life ' slogan by ss is great. with a limitless edition like galactus, we can take our time to get it in 5,10yrs..
