This whole ES thing still confounds me.
If its something you really like, buy it. A low ES is just an added bonus in my personal opinion. Collecting these pieces is & should be treated as a hobby which is what it is & not an investment. Just my 2 cents.

i can get this for $710 shipped, this is such a conflict of interest. I love this statue but absolutely hate open edition, cant stand them.

that's the only break you'll ever get on it. retailers aren't allowed go past 10% on discounts. more than that & they run the risk of losing their SS account

Galactus was definitely taller but hulk mass makes it feel almost as big. I just felt more in awe of hulk...he was hands down my favorite piece.

Maybe we can get Alex from Sideshow to come here and get the edition size problem clarified, it's such a good piece but I just can't buy it without an edition size.

Well I guess there's also the issue of having a lot of nice stuff coming out. So you may prioritize other items versus something with an open edition size that you can get in a few years. In some cases, people will just buy anything regardless, and that's ok too. Just different kinds of consumers I think.

So far I have my eye on like 5-6 POs so I may defer this if it's an Open Edition.

I guess it will also give people on the fence a long time to think about it without any risk of it selling out or going up in price on the secondary market. Also to source for dealers that have it cheaper at discount since it has no exclusive.

Love the statue and Ill buy it at some point. There's just no reason to buy now if its OE.

Funny thing is too I was hoping to slowly step away from this crazy hobby but you know how that ended.

Wow.

I think the purple around the eye-area makes it easier to SEE his eyes, they don't just blend in. But for anyone hating it, get some Tamiya Red Clear and problem solved.

But with the purple, you can see his eyes even from a distance as the pic above shows.

Yea these pics just did it for me. I know things may vary such as paint quality etc.. but this just made me realize the potential of this masterpiece. At this point I really could care less about the edition size since its too cool to pass up. Sold.!
