Of course SSC is an option, however because of the delay in Bats, I think people have gotten a little gun shy when it comes to getting these pieces on time, with SSC, Joker might get delayed as well...maybe, that's why many of us are looking elsewhere.

But for being patient you can't get a better deal than SSC..key word "Patient " maybe AE and CSC but IMO they're the same all around, however outside of the USA, I don't think people like SSC, because of the shipping

Is there an official ship date for 89 Batman? I know my final payment is scheduled to charge March 15.

ahhh so this figure does wear a padded body suit inside the costume. its easier for us if we want to thicken the joker up

I was shocked that they used an ordinary Tru type as well, what great tailoring they used on the clothes to give it the Nicholson body feel to it.

I wonder if they might do that for the Returns Penguin, an extra wide body suit over a regular tru type to give it good articulation.

red dragon statues has some at a good price, but its a preorder and I'm fairly certain they get theirs from SS. PLUS, their neutral feedback is fairly high for the last 6 mos.

I don't think he looks like a kid at all, he just looks like the Joker from TDK and IMO the better Joker. Not that I dislike Nicholson's version or anything..

Nicholson Joker would rape the TDK version, then laugh about it.

Nah, I'm kidding. Around the time TDK came out, I thought Ledger was "the best Jerker evar" but, obviously these last couple of years I've gotten back into the '89 Batman spirit and I can totally see why people prefer the '89 version. He's got lolz, he's got menace, it's just a great character. I use to think that the Ledger version with the cut mouth was the scarier version but now I'm not so sure. That permanent plastic surgery smile from the bullet going through his mouth may be even more grotesque and sinister.

Thankfully for me I like em both about equally. Right now however, I'm in Nicholson Joker mode, so yeah, I'm going to put him ahead a little. I have enough Ledger Joker figures. Someday when TDK gets some more years under it's belt, I'll come back to it and be in "TDK Joker" mode, just like I do with all my favorite movies.

Right now, it's all about the Nicholson. Just look at those pics above. It kills em, and the DX 01 is one of my favorite figures.
