WTF?!!! :gah:

My figure has been sitting in some Paris warehouse for the past 30hrs and has not moved a muscle! It's been doing diddley-squat, inactive, in some aircraft hangar, for a day and a quarter, in Paris. :impatient:

Not moving an inch. :impatient::impatient:

Just sitting there. :impatient::impatient::impatient:

This is 2012 and my figure has been held up by European Sunday Trading Laws?! Seriously?

Ya know it's funny, I've been waiting for this figure longer than any other. A 1/6 Nicholson Joker has been my grail figure for years - long before the HT announcement. And I'm just not stressing about when it's gonna be here.

I guess I just feel like I've been waiting so long, another week/month isn't gonna hurt.

Back at you. :goodpost: Was this level of technology even around for mass production of this kind of figure, way back in '89? I doubt it. How lucky we are really.

Thank you. This was another reason I had. I don't have anything against SS I just prefer AE. People actually get mad when you say anything bad about SS...it's kind of ridiculous.

Not really. I've been very critical of Sideshow in the past, especially their practice of shipping out Hot Toys figures in the plain shippers (without a larger box). But, they do tend to get their figures much earlier than everywhere else, including AE. That's why I still do business with them to this day. However I might switch to AE in the near future - I like how they now have their own Flex Pay system, and that their prices are cheaper than Sideshow.

As for Sideshow reward points, it's an utter shame that they won't allow us to use them on items with "free shipping", especially considering that most (if not all) of their Hot Toys figures now have the free shipping discount. What's the use of collecting points anymore if we won't be able to use them on practically anything? :dunno

All well and good if you live in the USA, which of which a lot of their customers don't.

True enough though.

Maybe they just shipped him out a whole new door?

:p

Well, I should rephrase it. Like spanbauer mentioned, the shipping isn't exactly free as it's already included in the price (given that Sideshow's prices tend to be much higher than other stores). But, I think I'll give Sideshow an call/email this week, and ask if they can provide a checkout option to waive the free shipping, so that customers can actually use reward points on Hot Toys figures.

I finally got the Nicholson Joker and he is amazing. It is definitely worth the wait and I don't think you can get a bad pose out of him:

I really want a Keaton Batman now but will hold out for the Returns figure (I prefer the Returns costume and the combination of cost/display space/minor suit differences means I don't want to get both).

Yeah, what if you only collect Hoy Toys. :lol I don't only collect HT but I really only buy poseable figures. I have one small statue...and I won that at last years Spook. :lol

I might have to order this guy when he is back instock at sideshow hes on backorder now. It willl look great wit hthe 89 bats i have coming this week.

You could just buy the '89 Batman now to go with your Joker. Then when the Batman Returns figure is revealed, you could just flip/sell the '89 figure.

Nice pics, Caped Crusader! Looks good next to the Heath Joker. Makes me want to pick a TDK Joker up now. But like DiFabio said, just pick Bats up now and if you don't fall in love just sell it off later on.

There is another Batman 1/6 coming already...this one still isn't really out yet...

I wonder if that could mean we might get a Michelle Pfiffer CATWOMAN?
