oh yeah, in the same way that these nolan fannerds constantly have to say crap like NOLAN IS TEH BEST AND ALL OTER BATMAN MOVIES SUXXX CUZ DEY ARE R OLD & DUM.

like i said, NEWBS. sick of them. im sick of hearing the constant "nolan this nolan that" when the fact is not everyone thiks that way. i find it to be pretty one sided here alot of times. you are allowed to say NOLAN RULES BURTON SUX YEEAH but dare you said nolan sucks and that you prefer tim burton or any other directors vision for the character and you get WHAAAAA U HATEIN UR OPINION SUXXX.

stupid. if this is what fan forums, particularly for batman, have become, then i want no part of it.

also like woodward said, if you dont like my opinion then dont listen read my post, or put me on ignore. but im sticking to what i say and you better deal with it just like how i deal with yours all the time.

Well, you don't actually do yourself a lot of favours do you? That rant was barely legible.

NOLAN IS TEH BEST AND ALL OTER BATMAN MOVIES SUXXX CUZ DEY ARE R OLD & DUM

Where did anyone say that?

No body here wants nor intends to try to negate your opinion. To even attempt such a thing would be futile foolishness. It's actually quite refreshing to hear someone stick to their guns so vehemently as you do. That's not where, at least I think, the problem lies.

But just to make things totally clear here, to suggest that people really think that older BATMAN incarnations are in any way 'bad' - in the manner which you imply - is rather odd to say the least. If for no other reason than the fact that there are a lot of people here whose memories go back far enough to be able to remember Adam West's BATMAN, first time around...me included. And that, needless to add, is way back further than Mr. Burton and his sterling efforts.

I have said to you before BF, I love the two Burton movies, I really do, because I love all aspects of the BATMAN character. I even really enjoy the old black+white serials which, despite their inherent cheapness, actually capture and even added to the mythos of BATMAN as we know it and take for granted to this day. In some ways they are more BATMAN than any other version on film.

No, the problem lies in the fact that you seem incapable of writing a post...any post seemingly regardless of thread topic... that does not, in some way, become a post not only about how good a pair of films the two Burton BATMAN movies are but also about how crap the Nolan ones are.

And that's all I am going to say on this subject.

I applaud your effort, your post is very well presented. But sociopaths never admit to being wrong, so don't expect a great response. ;)

I applaud you in the way that you're leading your life in that regards, but I'd prefer to remain sanitary when it comes to my rear end.

I don't think I've ever heard anyone say this. It's all in your head.

WHat does being a "newb" have anything to do with anything? And if someone likes Nolans Bat and not Burtons Bat, why do you care? And don't say that you don't because you've gone on at length about it. And you still haven't answered my question earlier in this thread. Why did I see a post in the Two Face thread of you praising the whole Nolan Batman line?? You were very excited about the figures.

stupid. if this is what fan forums, particularly for batman, have become, then i want no part of it.

I'm starting to think you're psychotic.

What methods do you guys use to get wrinkles out of these 1/6 clothes?

You can iron them. Just make sure you put a piece of fabic between the iron and whatever you want to iron.

That or the water treatment.

"Water treatment": Wet the wrinkled area until the weight of the water flatness it out. Then blow-dry it. It works in reverse as well, for adding wrinkles.

Its so weird to see this Burton vs. Nolan aqrgument continue...both work and depending on what the INDIVIDUAL watching is looking for is going to determine which is better. Burton's hinges on the fantansy aspect whereas Nolan's is based more on the realistic therefore making them totally different. But it needs to be said that without Burton's dark vision of Batman working and making a ton of cash Nolans vision might not have Been made. Burton showed that comic book material could be taken seriously and not make campy movies.

I love both.

^ Agreed with Guinnessfan.

Although Nicholson's Joker is fairly campy if you look at it just right.

Agree totally...it's so weird to see arguments about this...the films are so different it's hard to compare the two...people should realize we are lucky to have what we have to enjoy...if you dont like one...fine...but the foundation was built via 89...and to me that's cool.
