I believe this is still selling for close to retail. You should be able to find it for around $260-$270, maybe even less if you keep looking.

Congrats! He is an awesome figure. I can't figure out why such an awesome figure still goes for that close to retail, but that's just better news for those who didn't get him earlier. I got mine in a trade for the equivalent of ~$250, so I'm happy.

I've seen him in the low 200s sometimes. Of course I dont have the funds when I see them at that price.

I've got it for ok deal , close to yours consider fact I live in eastern Europe/****.hole and postage usually cost 50-80$ + 30% of total price I have to pay for vat/customs , I made absolute great deal for myself .
I have to travel abroad and smuggle toys/figures via airplane or on bus / train in order to get em for normal prices .It's cheaper for me to buy flight/train/bus ticket(depends how far I have to travel) and to fly over to smuggle 1-2 toys than to order it to arrive at my place lol

I saw him on ebay on avg. of 300+ even 500-600$ some ppl selling it for.

Does this guy hold up or does he feel dated in person... I guess sculpt quality is what I'm questioning. I like the mime sculpt better but want the classic joker look

The mime sculpt is more detailed and the better overall sculpt in my opinion. But the DX08 sculpt is still my favorite of the two since it's the more classic look of Nicholson's Joker. And the DX08 definitely doesn't look dated. If anything, he makes my newer figures look dated. The sculpt/figure is really that good.

Thinking of doing a diorama for this guy and my christopher reeves? Any suggestions? Not huge but something that might add to the figure like a classic scene from the movie.

With all my sudden excitement over the Batman Returns figure, I really couldn't resist any longer and decided to order Joker (for € 330 ). He should be here by Friday. I just hope the 1-pack Batman Returns Batman is reasonable priced though. I always liked the design over the first movie.

He's an absolute stand out on the shelf. The DX08 and DX09 are almost unanimously everyone's favorite that comes to visit. Incredible wow factor.
