ORDERED both thru BBTS.

I won't be denied.

Greg, here's the details on AE:

Orders may be cancelled within 14 days of placing your order. After 14 days, a 10% cancellation fee will be charged on all cancelled items. Once an item is in transit to Alter Ego Comics from the manufacturer, no cancellations will be allowed. This policy only applies to pre-order items.

That must've changed because I remember canceling orders in the past without any cancellation fee.

With Spider-Man I forgot to add my three digit security code for my card and it went through anyway. I'm pretty sure that's important and it wouldn't normally go through.

Maybe they just have it on file and they'll charge me anyway?
I don't know. All I know is I didn't submit any Credit Card information and I have an order number and email.

I believe that is the case...but I could be wrong. I go by the fine print which I believe states there is a 10% 15% cancellation fee.

I think after these two... i may be out, i hope others follow suit because it's unfair for HT's to keep raising the prices on items when they pretty much could make these in their sleep now...

This is beyond okay and i think we as collectors should make a stand... if we don't buy they will have to come down at some point.

I know this seems like a stretch to try and get people on the "no buy" side... but this almost 100 dollars more than the TDK Joker's retail.

If this is one of those things where the likeness caused the HUGE increase in price fine... but to make all figures over 200 now, isn't okay.

Pretty bummed, that i probably can't get both of these guys... since i can't really do flex pay in double doses, defeats the whole purpose of the "flex" if it's about 160 a month.

I know it's been that way for a year or two. Last January I cancelled two impulse pre-orders and somehow missed the 10% charge deadline by a day... I had no clue there even was one!

Wow, I guess it's been awhile then. :lol

Bummer on the Joker's price... but like has been said I'm sure Nicholson's likeness rights do not come cheap.

With the 5% reward points and free shipping I'll go ahead and order from Sideshow as that will be my cheapest option. I'm surprised that AE isn't offering 10% off like they normally do? Wonder if that was a one time decision based on popularity or if Sideshow is limiting the discounts retailers can offer... 15% off used to be the standard up until a few years ago :monkey2

I just wanna burst into tears since i can't afford to get everything that I want that is coming out!!!! this is a thing of beauty!!!

I got $75 in rewards points at Sideshow but if I burn them on Joker I lose the 270 worth of rewards and the CA tax will cut into half of that $75 anyway, so it makes no sense to do it for me.

I second your opinion but honestly, HT knows that when people can buy a $320 IM Gantry, they will, by any means go for a $250 iconic figure. Even if people "take a stand," we can't stop people from doing what they want to do with their money.

Wonder how long it will take for this to sell out :(

How Limited Edition is em Limited

Don't know, but I would bank on this being a very high edition size figure, as far as HT goes. My guess would be 8,000+ (which is only twice the amount of the "exclusive limited edition" 10th Anniversary Batman Begins figures). Possibly more like 10,000+.
