I second your opinion but honestly, HT knows that when people can buy a $320 IM Gantry, they will, by any means go for a $250 iconic figure. Even if people "take a stand," we can't stop people from doing what they want to do with their money.

Well, i am not saying to not buy these two... these are too extremely iconic to pass up and they both look great, but i fear there might be an over saturation of them once released... and the price will plummet under 200.

But i don't want to risk missing out either...

I feel after these two, if the prices continue to raise with every figure... which they seem to have done after every release, for instance the Sucker Punch figures are $180, that's nuts!

I am okay with this price if it is in fact because of the license, i just wish they weren't being released at the same time.

I think after these two... i may be out, i hope others follow suit because it's unfair for HT's to keep raising the prices on items when they pretty much could make these in their sleep now...

This is beyond okay and i think we as collectors should make a stand... if we don't buy they will have to come down at some point.

I know this seems like a stretch to try and get people on the "no buy" side... but this almost 100 dollars more than the TDK Joker's retail.

If this is one of those things where the likeness caused the HUGE increase in price fine... but to make all figures over 200 now, isn't okay.

Pretty bummed, that i probably can't get both of these guys... since i can't really do flex pay in double doses, defeats the whole purpose of the "flex" if it's about 160 a month.

Thing is, the gantry has moved far down my list with all of the new things upcoming. With these, customers who were getting the Gantry will likley cancel to get these.

I ordered the Batman DX, i can't afford the Joker. I don't care about Nicholsons likeness rights, this is simply far too much without enough in the package to justify it.

I think the prices are ridiculous personally, but I bought two of each figure any way. I know I'm giving in essentially but I'm pretty much done collecting after this Batman, Jack Joker and the Batmobile anyway. I already have the Toy Fairs Begins Batman and Christopher Reeve Superman on preorder. Spidey just came in and I think Hot Toys is done with Terminator.

Nothing left to get. This is the plateau when it comes to 1/6 collecting for me.

Absolutely. But we can choose what we do with ours. And what I am going to do with mine is to save it for something else. The market is FLOODED with LOTS of Awesome/amazing stuff and anyways I'm sure nothing will happen if I don't help to support poor HT or Nicholson...

I got $75 in rewards points at Sideshow but if I burn them on Joker I lose the 270 worth of rewards and the CA tax will cut into half of that $75 anyway, so it makes no sense to do it for me.

Yep, you'd lose $13.25 in RP that way... not to mention paying taxes, etc.

I only use RP 1) if the item is exclusive to Sideshow and 2) if I can pay for the entire item. I hate the idea of wasting those guys

Well, both of them are basically (or are) DX's, with the rolling eyes and the amount of accessories, and you can’t forget HT having to buy the rights. I think this will be their first of either actor, maybe the next movie (at least for Keaton) the figure will be a little cheaper.

late to the game so I barely saw these pics. Looks astounding. definitely not too shocked at the price though. I'm sure getting Jack's likeness rights was like pulling teeth. May consider selling my TDK DX's in exchange for this and Keaton Bats
