this is where i say no

i just can't pull the trigger at those prices

this will be the first and last time I pay these prices for a 1/6 figure. I will pass on a future BR figure and future Joker figs too. I don't know how they think they're gonna sell multiple Joker figs at close to $300 a pop. I expect SS to do some really cool things with Jack's Joker in the future.

And I don't buy the excuse that they have to charge more because of the likeness rights to Jack. HT has made how many millions just in Heaths Jokers? and he has passed, so I don't believe the bs excuse that they NEED to charge so much more when they are making tons of money off a deceased person.

Why do you have to pay a $26 deposit at SS if you order only one and you don't need to deposit for Batman. Is it a typo?

This might be a dumb question but does HTs make more or less DXs than just a regular MMS figure? I know they don't release edition sizes but I've always wonder this.

:lol @ all the freaks whining about the price and blatantly ignoring the increase in quality of the figure. You think that's free? :huh

the quality on this figure is better than the new Classic that was just released? Debateable.............and blam $45 price increase.

What I find funny even more so is that no one seems to realize that the US Dollar is in the toilet...Those two things combined....well I guess I can't blame people for wanting it cheaper, but maybe thinking about stuff first? :dunno

Of course there is a bit of price gouging, but if you think they could get this figure out for 150 and make a profit....well I'm just not sure. Nicholson's likeness doesn't come cheap and neither does the Batman license, or the amazing quality of these guys......oh well.

Isn't the "new Classic" reusing parts? And not really much of a wardrobe needing tailoring, or a need for "exact" likeness. Also, no likeness rights. They're just paying Fox on that one. Here, it's WB and Nicholson. So try again.

Leave us be! We're an entitlement generation of sissies:lecture:lol

:nono Not going there. I jokingly did last night and it was like flipping over a couch in a crackhouse. They came out from everywhere! :lol

So who's gonna swap Nicholson's head with Ledger's costume and vice versa? I doubt I would ever display them that way but it'll make for some cool pictures!!!!

I am a little confused here?

I just PO both through BBTS, but why would you go anywhere else?

BBTS has the following:
set for $475 shipped
no restocking or cancelation fees
they dont charge you until it is ready to ship.
no CA sales tax ( good for me:lecture)

CornerStore was going to be a little over $512 shipped, even though I live 80 min from them :dunno

and AE was going to be $490

So am I missing something? Why wouldn't everyone order from them? does CSC not charge sales tax to out of state orders?

It has to be the likeness rights........I mean it's the first time he's given the ok and I'm sure it wasn't cheap. This being a work of art, the price doesn't really bother me any. Look at the price for Indy and that sculpt really has some issues. This on the other hand is about as perfect as it gets and is worth it(for me anyways).
