I think my favorite Joker (and Joker story) was in The Killing Joke, and IMHO, Mark personifies that Joker in the animated versions perfectly.

Damn, I really need to play this game and it's sequel. I'm missing a lot! :slap

I've been playing through it again in anticipation of the sequel. It's a very well done game. Some of the best voice acting I've heard in a game in a long time, and Hamill is absolutely perfect as the joker. I guarantee if you get the game, you won't regret it.

:lecture:lecture:lecture Doesn't hurt one bit that the heavy hitters from BTAS are involved here too.

The story was written by Paul Dini (Batman: The Animated Series, Detective Comics). Three voice actors reprise their roles from the DC Animated Universe TV shows. Batman is portrayed by Kevin Conroy, the Joker by Mark Hamill, and Harley Quinn by Arleen Sorkin, who played these parts in Batman: The Animated Series, and most subsequent cartoons. Additionally, veteran voice actors Steven Blum, Cree Summer, Tom Kane, Dino Andrade, Tasia Valenza, Wally Wingert, Fred Tatasciore, and James Horan portray Killer Croc, Dr. Young, Commissioner Gordon, Scarecrow, Poison Ivy, Riddler, Bane, and Jack Ryder, respectively.

Sorry Batfreaks but Hamill's voice or not, the Wolverine game had better combat than Batman :pfft:

Batman 2 looks like the same kid friendly combat again :gah:

But i'm sure it will still be an enjoyable game :monkey1

I kinda agree the combat was 'kid friendly' - but thoroughly enjoyable, you feel the 'weight' of the punches and the sheer badassery of taking on 20 goons at one time is great

Go shake your marvel pompoms in the VG boards. This game is better because it's the goddam Batman, and Batman > Wolverine 24hrs a day, 7 days a week and twice on Sundays. :pfft:

But seriously, if the "combat" is the only reason you play a game, so be it. But the whole environment, voice acting, graphics, detective aspects, stealth, etc., puts this game well above Wolverine.

Yeah, I would have to agree with everything you said :lol

animated series is still one of the greatest things ever (as is killing joke). hamill's joker is freaking epic. he voiced joker in the dc online game as well. not playing the game anymore but it was always cool when scenes with him popped up.

Yeah, I would have to agree with everything you said :lol

I :lol'd the first time I hung under a gargoyle, snatched up a thug and left him tied there, squirming and screaming. Ingeniously executed awesomeness. :lol

Though Killer Crock's fight was just straight-up oldschool videogame cheapassery.

True True

Next time I will be more considerate and not use this :pfft: when discussing Batman and the wants and likes from his legion of fans :slap

:lol

I'm a dope, I didn't play the 1st game after not liking the combat from the demo and I was too caught up in the Battlefield game anyways to have any available time to donate to the dark knight :horror.

I'm actually looking forward to his new game :rock

Wait, BF3 comes out the same month, no? :gah: :slap......NOOOOOOOO!!!!
