After having just got the new HT Indy I really don't know why they aren't including a non hatted hair piece for Jokers head. It seems like an easy fix/add on, and it works brilliantly with Indy. That hat hair kinda bothers me on the sculpt. Def looks better with the hat on IMO.

I'm more worried about Hot Toys altering the head sculpt when they release this.

I only want the proto head sculpt (no alterations)

The changes they made to the Captain America figure, has me worried for this figure.

this won't be out for another 4 months I would think at the earliest.

I hope they rush production and release this for Xmas. This is definitely figure of 2011 for me, along with luke, but I doubt he'll be out this year.

Rush production without jeopardizing quality. Just like T1000, which if I remembered, was out in like what, 2-3 months after initial proto/PO pics?

This is not like iron man, where they need to engineer a new body, or rubber suit like Batman. They should have no problem in making clothed figures such as these by now/

Just kidding. Hot toys and Batman are a great match but with the recent QC issues its evident that the less rushed the figures are, the less problems there will be. Give them time and they will deliver

Actually, I was thinking of doing the opposite ... just Batman, no Joker. Batman is less expensive, and he works better as a stand-alone than Joker does. Joker isn't a standalone character in any medium. I think a Nicholson Joker surrounded by Nolan Batman figures and a Chris Reeve Superman would look weird. I don't think an '89 Batman would. You could put him opposite the Superman, and would actually fit nicely.
