Not sure if you're joking or not but I noticed that too. I haven't seen the movie though, so I don't know if he eventually wears boots like the figure or not!? From the pics I've seen though.. he's always wearing sandals (toes exposed) like Leonidas. So iunno.

I asked my hubby about the head because I thought she should have the more peaceful humanish look and he told me that she looked like that when her "power" was released on the Cracken so I guess that is what they were going for.

She looked like that when doing it to the people in her lair, but I'm almost positive she did not look like that during the sequence with the Kraken or any time after her head was chopped off.

I was actually looking for that when I watched the movie as I had already seen the teaser. Not saying I'm right, but I sure think I am

Not bad but not one of their better likeness. Also the Medusa head looks nothing like the one I saw in the movie.

She looked like that when doing it to the people in her lair, but I'm almost positive she did not look like that during the sequence with the Kraken or any time after her head was chopped off.

Well, I'm actually positive she did look like that in the Kraken scene. Maybe the likeness isn't 100% the same, but she defintely went more snake like and opened her mouth when she turned it to stone.

She did not do that turning into a V lizard in the final scene.. I am 100% positive. It was so unmemorable, it doesn't really matter. Close your eyes and imagine a medusa scene. 10 out of 10 it will be the original one from the first movie..

I did not like the film so i am staying away from this line, but i would like to get that sculpt if it is possible to put it onto Marcus ...would it be possible? Marcus has a sculpted neck ..but this guy does not ..

^^ you guys are wrong! only her eyes lit up, no screaming lizard face. thats what i was looking out for in the movie, because of the teaser hot toys showed before the movie came out.

That's why I had to ask hubby because I was certain that her eyes lit up but no snake face. He thinks she had the hissing snake face. WOW that really sucks that I can't remember for sure. Perhaps it was a little of both...Regular human face, gaping mouth, teeth pointy, eyes glowey. the end LOL.

I remember when she tried to turn that blue scorpion fellow into stone and failed she formed a snake face ..but i don't recall it changing when Perseus killed the kraken using her severed head ..i believe her expression remains neutral after Perseus chops her head off ..im confident in believing lifeless heads cant pull expressions.
So all in all i think hot toys based her head on that scene when she tried to kill blue scorpion man ..and ya i would probably remember his name if the film had been any good or if i had cared for any of the characters ..but i didn't.

I still think HT used the old Marcus head for that teaser.

So the overreaction was their fault. And they've done the same thing before like I pointed out, because ALL of the promo pics/official spec pics/display figures for DX 02 Batman used the v.1 TDK Batman body/suit with a different chest piece and DX heads/accessories. The new body/suit (eventually the figure used a Slim TT) wasn't seen until the figure was actually released and people posted in-hand pics.

It's nothing new so I don't see the problem.

I don't see how they could've used the Marcus sculpt when it has a neck and Perseus has a ball-jointed head on a sculpted neck. It's hard to see in the teaser but the line where the head meets the neck is visible.
