That's a great repaint job on the Thriller heads. Is Noel Cruz a member here or just an ebay seller? I'd like to get my Thriller heads repainted like that.

A member here bought the thriller head on eBay as I remember. They never did post a pic of the head when they got it though which was a little strange. There was a discussion going on as to if these heads looked this good in real life or had been touched up digitally. The person who bought the head said they would post pics, but never did ( to the best of my knowledge) so I don't know what to think of this guys work.

I didn't think that someone here won it, I must've missed that, but it went for $700 or something from what I recall, no?

I do remember though that someone said they messaged him about re-painting their 'Thriller' head but never got a reply. That he listed 'Bad,' where he's just re-painted a single head, at $500 to start when the figure couldn't have set him back more than $200 gives a good idea of how much he values and would perhaps charge for his work if he did reply, I suppose.

The biggest difference I see in these repaints is the addition of an upper eyelid all the way across, which changes the appearance of the overall shape and gets rid of the slightly Asian look of the originals.

Wow, that's great. I wasn't sure where people were making the Jackson connection, I thought maybe with the 'Dangerous' artwork, but now it has to be 'Beat It' for sure.

So FINALLY in december i can go and purchase this figure. I noticed that it's out of stock at Toys2.net and it wouldn't surprise me if alot of other stores will follow, or are already out of stock as well with the Bad version. I simply can't let that happen, i absolutely want to add this one to my collection, i was too late with the Billie Jean figure but did buy the Thriller one.

There's this store in my country and the store clerk was friendly enough to put the figure away for me, so nobody can buy it, it's how you say....reserved for me? So damn cool. In december i have the amount of money i need for it.

Anyway....i would love to see a picture of this figure with the little lights on the stand enabled, does anyone have a photo?

$229.94, which is in euros 170. Just a bit more than Toys2.net, where i got my Thriller version from. Around the time of december i can either go visit the store where they have all kinds of figures and just pick it up myself, cause around that time also, i'm going to friends, who live nearby that shop. Or i can simply have it sent to my house without any extra costs. The nice thing is..this is in my country. Holland. I like that...there's a figures-collectables shop in my hometown but they really ask crazy prices for figures. The Thriller one is now 301,93 dollars there.

Dude come on ...the logo is only shown on his t-shirt in the Beat It video, and he's also wearing a jacket in there, nope...i simply didn't notice it. Sorry. But yes...i'm a lifetime MJ fan, ever since my 5th.

Looks awesome, i noticed how it can really change how accurate he looks when you change the eyes, i saw several pics where the eyes were looking up and down, and it looked weird, and didn't have that exact MJ stare. A picture of this with the lights enabled on the support thing, would be great

The lights are barely noticeable, pretty close to being non-existent. If you went into a room that was absolutely pitch black and turned on the stand lights, you would probably be able to make out the shoes and that's about it. Position the figure on top of the lights you might see a little more but still not much. Put it in your average dimly-lit room and you wont know the stand lights are even on. I don't think it's a feature you should get too exited about. I was excited about it before, as well, this was my first DX figure, but when you receive it you'll see that the light feature is really nothing much at all.

Ok sorry dude i was a little ****** there ..i guess the logo looks just like a blotch of colors when in motion and its not very promonant, so i can see now that it can be easy to miss ..even by a big Mj fan.

...anyway back to the figure, anyone else here take off his main belt just because it looks weird? it sits a little too high on his waist,it covers his entire stomach almost ..there is not much give in my one, when i tried to pull it down over his other belts it just came undone so i left it off, its not music video accurate anymore but it looks waaaay better.

The police belt? Actually some of us took it off because it's more accurate. He doesn't wear that belt in the Bad! video... only Dirty Diana.
