I suppose that's true, Nam. I'm just judging things purely by pics that others have posted.

I'd be more inclined to think that the Ani-Com Scar is the ultimate grail, though. Super rare, and the occasional listing on feeBay has him so high that no will will pay for it.

It all depends on your definition of "grail." For me, the P1 was a grail because for the longest time HT was making every one except the best. :lol

:rotfl P1's definitely a cool figure, though. I actually think it's one of HT's best.

For me, I'd say a grail is one's favorite and priciest piece. It sounds superficial, but judging on the grail-devoted thread on SSF, that last part seems to ring true.

Yup, I said it. The P2 Elder they did is an older figure and what's more, the paint apps are pretty simple (but the sculpt rocks). Cool piece for sure, but it just seems like the base skin color of the plastic dominates that figure more than on any other HT Pred. That's just me though. If HT made one of those today, we'd have a much cooler-looking version. That'll never happen, so... :dunno
i still own the elder and i can agree with that.
when it's next to my P1 there is definitely a big difference in paint apps and proportions.
the elder is just the best old HT pred figure. the newer ones are clearly better made.

although, i will say the elder's head sculpt is more accurate than the P1's.

I define it differently. Post people define it as that one piece you'll never be able to afford. Based on that, it looks like Guardian will potentially be a grail. I define it as that one star or gem that completes the collection. A piece that you missed and need to track down or something that nobody's made yet so it turns into a custom project, etc. Sometimes that falls into the "expensive" category but for me, it's not about how much something costs but how it completes my collection.

I tend to define grail as follows: A figure I would never sell.

Pred1 falls under that category.

I like the sound of that. It's like that one piece that matters most in every way.
I'd sure as hell never sell my Celtic. Wanted one of those since 5th grade. One of HT's first two Preds ever, the ones that blew everyone away at the time. Now I have one and I still can't believe it :monkey2:yess:.

:horror That was 4 years ago. :lol
