@Kibishii: Lots and lots of saving. Every couple years I visit my grandparents or they visit us. Long story short, I get around $300 every time that happens. Add some sales of my older stuff (many people who buy HT sort of cycle their collection out), and academic success. All there is to it.

On an unrelated note, I just got done re-posing my BD P2 to get him ready for when Guardian arrives. With some work, I could get a pretty decent squat out of him. Only problem is the damn underside of the back of the belt broke off -- again. It was the first HT Pred I had to assemble and some Krazy Glue was involved . Soon as that happened, I gave him another dosage. Everything's cool now, but it got me thinking... the P2 armor is just a pain in the ass. I wonder if we'll have to assemble good old Guardian this time.

@Boba Ben: I've got it covered . I'll have just enough dough left over at the end of the summer to get the second of the "Predators" Preds. And, if I sell my PSP and my old monitor, I'll be able to get the third and final. Come to think of it, made another sale today on THL for an item I put up just yesterday.

Sadly, my PSP will probably have to go on Craigslist. Dunno if anyone'd go for that here.
Hint, hint: it's modded and comes with a boatload of accessories and a 1GB memory card. For anyone interested, that is .

Sweet! It's official. My WL reservation number has been replaced with a big fat TB****! The weird thing is that it said it'd convert tomorrow, but it happened today. The even weirder thing is that it says it was placed on the 16th when I look at my order page. No shipping estimate yet and it says "processing."

Saw on ebay they're being listed between $400-$600. Not sure if anyone is buying though.

Where would the price on this guy be expected to settle down the road?

I bet there's quite a few that signed onto that list since July 1st. It's half a month later now. Hate to break it to you, but it seems pretty unlikely. Unless someone sent theirs back or couldn't make the payment way down the road.
