About a month ago I missed out on the Guardian Predator Presale but thought I was lucky enough to score one for $350 on ebay from ebay seller tonycheung1965. Anyways, he recently refunded my money saying he couldn't get the Predators which is bull crap. He sold a few after his initial sales of $300-$350 for $550-$600. I see feedback from those buyers who seemed to have received their item. So long story short, this seller is a liar and just out for more money which is no surprise.

Fascinating. I did wonder about the number he had for sale, now I understand why he was so positive when I asked to cancel my purchase (after my waitlist converted!).

Finally 'finished' my Guardian - with a converted & repainted P2 hand so he can hold his spear properly!

I finally had some time to open up this great figure today. All I can say is that I love it! Plus, as someone mentioned before, it's got a Darth Vader feeling to it, and to me, Vader is the man. Anyway, I did the dreads mod on it and here are some pics:

thanks for clearing that up Skiman, i actually did this mod to the lost pred when i got him and looks much better when all done. commtechs pics are excellent and the dreads look great, doesnt look like he just woke up.

Thanks friends. It's actually the boiling water rubber band method. Put it in boiling water for 20 seconds and then immediately put it in a cold glass of water with ice for 30 seconds (have the glass of cold water ready ahead of time so everything's pretty cold by the time of the transfer), then to the freezer for 5 minutes. That's what has worked for me. I used the same method on my P1 a month ago and the dreads have stayed in place since.

Is this mod explained with pics in some place? i dont want to damage my Predator head but yours looks 1000 times better than mine

This is the best predator I have seen so far. The AVP versions are just too much now.

I got one myself on ebay which is ridiculous. But it worth every penny.

you wont damage it by blow drying it...
