Hot Toys – MMS132 - Iron Man 2: Mark VI full spec and pics

I thought the removable pieces were going to be difficult to removed and change out but they pop off pretty easily. The chest does seem to pop off too easy though. I can't wait to get the problems with mine address and corrected so I can enjoy the figure to its fullest.

Got my exclusive today. The extra arm piece is pretty cool for what it is. The figure itself is great which I already knew from getting my first one. This one does maybe have a little loose knee joints but nothing horrible. Was gonna take pictures and review today but its about to pour outside so I didn't think it was wise to be outside. Hopefully, I can get out tomorrow and finally add something to this thread.

Regardless how fantastic this figure is, something really intrigues me about Whiplash. I thought he was great in the film, just the figure never really appealed to me until recently. I don't know, a like-able funny bad guy? :s So many scenes he was funny in, the faceless expressions. Strangely enough I never could take to Mickey Rourke.

Whiplash is a solid figure and the character itself was interesting in the movie as well. Would have liked to have gotten even more of him but thats not how it went.

The way Hot Toys is currently going with Iron Man I wouldn't rule it out. It may take a while but I can see them going further.

However, I did notice this on his thigh (took one of voodun's pictures because it seems he has it there, too) Does everyone else have this little paint thing going on as well? I tried looking at pictures of other M VI's and some appeared to not have this.

I have the same thing, I thought it was a defect, but I just figured it was their "weathering". However, it looks more like a paint slip up than a suit scuff.

I agree...and yet hot toys made his jumpsuit the completely wrong color....I found a member selling one here with the modded pants but he's in Canada

I could have sworn it was determined it had something to do with they couldn't. I don't know if that was confirmed but I remember that being talked about.

I can't believe it myself, but EVERY single person has claimed their Mark VI. Unheard of for a piece of this expense/quantity. Sorry to those who were hoping we'd end up with strays, but it doesn't look good at this point.

Just out of curiosity (since I've had bad luck in the past) what happens if we get one that is defective from you guys CSC? any chance for a replacement?

I have some issues with mine

2 missing undamaged right shoulder plate

I got an exclusive and regular version.
My exclusive version is missing this piece too. Was yours an exclusive version? I just emailed Sideshow about it hopefully they can just send me the piece.

Also for those with the exclusive is the arm suppose to fit any trutype or just a female body?
I tried putting it on a male figure but could not figure it out.
