mine came today from CSC.....one small major problem....his right wrist does not want to rotate so the persistent kid in me broke off the wrist armor....I know I can fix it but the wrist still won't rotate so his hands are stuck with his palms face down.....other than that this Mark VI is FANTASTIC....best one so far....absolutely love it....

My impressions of the Mark VI:
I didn't think that I would be as happy with this figure as I turned out to be. I am still in love with the Mark IV, and I thought that the VI would compliment him, not overtake him. The Battle Damage stuff is neat, but I like the clean look more, personally.
I'm sorry to hear that a significant number of these are missing pieces, but I'm sure Hot Toys will make everyone better, albeit it might be a few weeks. Thankfully, mine wasn't missing any pieces, although I do feel that, in some ways, Hot Toys may have had looser Quality Control this time around. The 'clean' chest piece just doesn't want to stay attached, the 'mouth magnet' of my Battle Damage face plate wasn't glued properly, and I have a 'floating' plate in the abdominal section. Not to mention the same problems with the back air flaps and the left leg flare dispenser. And this is the second time I've gotten CRAP batteries lol!
Overall, though, I'm not angry with any aspect of the figure. I love it!
Per discussions from the last dozen pages or so, it is amazing how this paintjob, both from the movie and on the figure, really adds to the illusion of being bulkier. I love that this paint scheme looks as much like classic Iron Man from the 1980s as it gets, aside from the triangular/circular reactor (I can live with it!). The Mark IV is slick and sleek, while the VI looks like it's ready for action! I love them BOTH!

VIP gift comes with a slim male TT forearm. With non-slim male TT forearm, you would have to eject the larger forearm from the elbow joint and use the included forearm.
There are 3 types of female TT, all with slim enough forearms.
2 pegs included are for male and female arms.

I was able to get it on my T-1000 and he looked kind of cool with it on.

Got mine today direct from SS. Box arrived in less the good condition. They could really take a lesson in packaging from BBTS.
Both face plates have a little extra plastic from the lenses sticking out on the left side that stops them from sitting flush. The BD face plate is also missing a magnet.

1. Grind the extra pieces down.... though I suspect it is the head and not the face plate that making it not to sit flush.
2. BD face plate is missing a metal piece (not magnet).... If you're lucky it's still some where in the packaging/box

wow!got this guy yesterday and after wading through all the extras i cant believe this guy wasnt a dx
.I mean a diorama/base,loads of battle damaged extras that make this two figures in theory,certainly on par with the dx series.Damn i need another display cabinet without an ikea in sight which would have been handy but alas cornwall

Picked a good time today to get my photos in between rain showers and got some sun to help.
Got mine yesterday - everything seems intact - its a seriously sweet figure but there is so many ******* pieces with it! I like a little extra for my money, but everytime I open the box, i feel like the thing is going to rain little plastic armor plates!
