The mask is off. It has enough room to have a nose in there the mask just isn't completely accurate.

The bulk or size of the base figure is much more noticeable to me.

I might still buy it but the jacket needs some work too.

So if they made batmans nose weird from the side you wouldnt mind as long as its good from the front? I like viewing my figures from more than one angle

Good point.
But even you have to admit, it is not as big a problem as it is being made out to be. Sure, it seems like an easy fix for HT, but the fact that they have improved on other aspects of the figure decreases the magnitude of this problem for me.

A bad nose on a Batman would be disastrous, but for this figure, I don't see it as that big a deal. Given, I can only notice it from a side profile.

I shouldn't matter if someone is ok with it as it is. I am. You can hate a figure for thinking its inaccuracies are bad and others can like that same figure as is. Beauty and ugliness is in the eye of the beholder.

I keep going back and forth about this...

In this picture it looks like the mask sticks out plenty far for a nose to be in there.

From that angle, it looks quite good IMO.

I agree, bit of an optical illusion with the shape of the mask, sure it should stick out further, but you could get a nose in there.
I think this guy will look great with some serious weathering. But damn you elvis for showing (your far superior) custom first.

But see, the two pics aren't taken from the same angle. I have a feeling that from a higher vantage point, that little bit you added will be revealed.

it was never revealed in the movie what happened to him under the mask...maybe his nose WAS gone. If so, Hot toys is even more accurate than its' source material

The scene in the pit when he is wearing the bloody cloth - it looks like his noes is gone.

Well...I've looked at OMG's great photos, checked out the "unboxing" video and....looking forward to it.

I may try to score a coat when he's parted out to attempt some weathering....but other than that, I think Bane will look great displayed with the Dark Knight....

It sure is something how once a figure pops up, the usual suspects show up and have their same back-n-forth...the Debbie Downers and Nancy Negatives carry on til they're out of breath. It's like a bad comedy...don't like it, don't buy it I say.

Okay, I have to say this area does look strange. I mean, even if the nose was torn off, there should still be the bridge of bone that is between your eyes:

I mean that blue section is really smashed flat to his face. :/

Nose doesnt bother me one bit.
Its not hard to imagine if he doesnt have a nose anyway since he needs that apparatus to breath.

I have been hard on HT lately for dropping the ball on most of their figures lately and have been praising Enterbay, but I gotta give credit to where credit is due, I think this is an impressive figure.
Since its first reveal, the only thing that always bothered me was the weathering which isnt hard to do.
I think most of the figures flaws are far far outweighed by its positive features.
With many new figures having a bland blank stare, it would be quite easy for them to have made a generic looking man in a Bane mask, but the expression is good and that is Tom Hardy in that Mask.
I can't wait to have this in my detolf.

Yes, yes, yes. The mask looks off, as well as the color, it's way to blue imo. But these paint edits of photo's are not really necessary

The lack of nose is bothering me so bad. I'm not feeling that large amount of excitement I usually do when a figure is close to shipping. With all that said, I cancelled my pre-order and decided that I'll pick it up at a later date or in lieu of a possible DX.

Most figures don't hold up right next to a screenshot. I still like the figure and thinks its a passable profile shot.

Looks like a pretty good effort to me...in that bright light, the coat does look like it's got some weathering going on.Unlike some other recent releases (that in the interest of not being blasted for ten pages, I'll leave nameless LOL)...there haven't been any "bad" looking shots of him. Looks like a solid figure...

Cripes this nitpicking on a couple angles of the head ...don't buy it- say it's a piece of crap but the money is flying out of my wallet just for this and I'm pleased as punch!
