Paying the extra cash for the packout sucks, but if I order from SS, I ALWAYS get the pack out. I figure it's an added bit of insurance on an expensive collectible.

Those pics are ridiculous though. I recently ordered a TV from Amazon and had it shipped via UPS. The way the box showed up, I can't believe the TV wasn't damaged.

Wow skooter - that's just awful. Hope Sideshow corrects that mess straight away with an on-the-house, packed out Bane.

I just received mine from SSC and thankfully no issues...despite not springing for the extra packaging. First impressions on the figure are off the charts positive - I really like this guy. He has serious shelf presence. Only complaints are the pants and the fact that he can't perform his signature pose from the film, but I was prepared for those and both can be rectified.

Going with the coat and sweater off for now, holding the broken cowl.
When I'm ready, I'll tackle possibly switching out the arms and adding the other layers.

Amazing figure - really glad I have him.

This was definitely on purpose , someone was jealous or having a bad day . Sucks

Sorry to see that skooternb. That is very disappointing. Received my Bane today too. Luckily no damage. So far, he's great figure. I'll review him more after work tomorrow.

The thing that REALLY bugs me is that people can see what the item is. I mean, I keep thinking about this. Imagine it. When my '89 Batmobile ships from them, not only will it be huge, but it'll read,


"1989 BATMAN BATMOBILE COLLECTIBLE"



That just begs to be messed with.

Haha! Yeah my UPS guy used to read the boxes and would know all of the cool toys I was getting and was always impressed when he made his deliveries. At least he was careful with mine!

Hi all,

Got Bane yesterday and I love the figure. I was looking over him and noticed one of the straps on the belt has peeled a bit. I don't want to send this back to Sideshow for something so small and was wondering if anybody could recommend a fix for it. I appreciate any ideas that may help me out.

This is also the first time I'm posting a picture, so here's to hoping I did it correctly.

Had a bit of fun setting up my Bane last night The coat was a bit of a pain to get on and get it to sit right, but I'm pretty happy with the end result.

Can you do the arm mod with another TT's arms? If he has the jacket on, it doesn't matter how muscular they are. It will inhibit me from swapping his look so easily.... But I think the jacket on with the boss pose would be my ideal display.
