Bleached them (didn't really do anything)
Paint washed light gray
Paint washed darker gray
paint washed black for the knee pad area and weather the seams with black a dry brush

after they dry i wll add another paint wash of a gray/blue to finish them off

Just back tracked through the thread and saw the pics of those with damaged boxes, figures etc...

Sorry that happened to you guys. I know how you feel. My first figure (DX12) came with several defects which spoilt my enjoyment of the figure. I didn't bother displaying it as I was trying to sort out an exchange/refund from Sideshow. Took about a month to sort out and I ended up getting a refund then purchased another, only to have issues with my second one as well, so I still don't have a Batman to display. It sucks.

Hope you guys get replacement Banes soon!

Great work there Ecko . What kind of paint did you use to color the pants?

Also, I've been looking for the post where you talk about the boots but couldn't find it. How did you get the strap that goes across the top of the boots?

I always use tamiya paints - acrylics

Paint washed twice

I used a scrap piece of leather for the strap , the non smooth side .

Just cut to size , and added a buckle , then glued on the boot

i just used flat black , flat white , mixed them for a lighter gray , then did th sae thing but with more black to make a darker gray.

I just dried them and weathered them up , the look so aweome as is , i may not even add some blue . They're pretty close to th hero pants i have photos of
