Can't really do tutorials (not that I don't want to, I wouldn't know where to start lol). As someone suggested before, I just used a brush to paint them really (same principle as some of the weathering that people have been doing around here I guess). If it helps, I didn't use much water (only certain times), so I mostly dry-brushed it.

Finally got around to opening Bane last night and I'm really impressed. Gonna try and get some pics up later tonight.

I have a couple questions about the trialmaster jacket. This is the one that comes from the I am Legend set with M4 and pants/shirt right? I noticed theres a patch on the left arm. is it easily removed?

it's so easy to remove, mine flicked off while i was putting it on bane.

I had a florescent light shining on him, so the camera kind of enhanced the colors a bit.

Plain, simple old drybrushing. Took a light brown and just dusted it on the boots.

Perfect, thanks! Was a little worried about it as I'm kind of in non-custom mode right now.



Pants look good, cr0w. Not nearly as tight.

Thanks. Just pull 'em down off his waist until the belt is below his sash and it does wonders. That's how he wore them in the film anyway, so it's accurate.

Stupid question, but what are people using to sand down the TT arm pegs?

sand paper?

Save your fingers and use a Dremel sanding tool.

Oh ok thats good, Cuz i got a spare truetype so I'll use those arms.

It's not ideal for any pics showing the arms only, but works for the jacket pose.

Though I still need to paint the buttons with silver, I tried my hand at repainting the trialmaster jacket:
