Just got back from watching the movie. Bane's awesome, but...

he didn't get the end that he deserves and there was a moment reminiscent to the Batman & Robin movie where he was almost literally patted on the head by the woman he loves. Other than that, great performance by Tom.

Still, wouldn't get the figure because even though you can probably switch his body with a bulkier truetype one, you shouldn't need to considering the amount of money paid for the figure. Simply put, this prototype doesn't do the character justice.

Yeah, I really like the look of this figure as well - nitpicks aside.

I'd rather him in that black leather jacket though.. if I'm correct in assuming that's what I saw him wearing in a random still somewhere..

A word about Tom Hardy's shoulders. (Specifically his upper traps)

They are big, but not as big as some of you think.


This is a shot of his natural upper traps:

I'm not an advocate for a bigger of specially customized body for this figure (in fact, I think the traps look just as big on the figure as they do on the screen with the vest on. . .), but in the Warrior Hardy's traps looked pretty pertty big the whole time.

Yup, if my earlier predictions in this thread are correct, all the earlier perfectionist-*****-baby whinners, saw the movie last night, now think Bane is the greatest villain since Darth Vader and are PO this right now. Very typical.

I was living around a year in Sweden (Linköping), and yes, pretty girls....but, the life there is sooooooooooooo boring....

Also if you like the country-side, the snow, easy cities...maybe you enjoy Sweden.

Ok, Bane was a good villain. For less than US$160 pre-order price locally, I am getting him.

Bane in the Arkham Prisoner get-up is also a cool kitbash.
