Impossibly good film, exceptional villain, and I have faith in Hot Toys to improve this figure, especially since I have to wait 8 months for it!

I was living around a year in Sweden (Linköping), and yes, pretty girls....but, the life there is sooooooooooooo boring....

Also if you like the country-side, the snow, easy cities...maybe you enjoy Sweden.

Well, I saw the movie and it made me Preorder Bane, mainly because of the price. I agree that he was a very good villain, but I think that the Joker was more interesting.

The whole watch gotham die in a pit thing is NOT a mind-game? The whole, breaking mind before body not a mind game?

Bane was the better villain, had Ledger still been alive, I'm sure we'd look at this thing differently, not to take away the fact that he did terrific, but Joker is an easier character to bring to the screen than Bane, and in that respect, I think Hardy outdid Ledger.

Bane is my favorite villain because of this movie.

Bane really caught me off guard. I didn't follow the movie very closely trailer wise. I knew his voice sounded intelligent, but I was really surprised how awesome of a voice it was. It makes him a lot more memorable. This figure still feels pretty lousy as far as inclusions, price tag, and just generally looks underwhelming though. An excellent performance by the actor isn't going to make his figure any better.

I don't really see why people are pressed to decide. This figure will be retail price for ages since Hot Toys ships out so much of their stuff now. I laugh at the people who buy one of modern Hot Toys figures to resell later. If after a year there is still no word on another Bane you could just buy this one.

Also if the movie was any indication there really isn't much else you could do with this guy. His body is weak and the details kind of suck, but he would mostly have random explosives and little trinkets. Is that really worth the extra forty dollars the DX would cost? If you think so then wait, but if you really want a Bane just get it now.

^ Hot Toys still do get more expensive after release but I see the point.

the thing I think people are hoping for in a DX is pretty much the same Bane with roughly the same accessories but of better quality, greater detail. I want to have a Bane figure to be proud of (so to speak), if they made a proper Batman DX it's only right to have a Bane one to match him.

Catwoman won't get a DX and she doesn't need one. The DX line should be reserved for those that really make use of it. Joker from 1989 Batman really did not need one either.

Now I can actually see the benefit to a Bane DX if anything just because like with Batman you aren't getting a lot of face here so the movable eyes would be a nice touch. At this point though having a DX on top of having a normal release is just greedy. Also, I rather not pay forty dollars more because a guy can move his eyes. The exact same product could be released as a non DX without the eyes and be forty dollars cheaper. That's how Hot Toys rolls and this Bane is excellent proof of it.

I do think it is weird he does not come with detonation triggers, Harvey Dent poster, etc.. These are so small and simple, but Hot Toys usually includes those basic trinkets regardless.

Want to know what I think? I think this will be included in the real thing. I think that like with Loki they are waiting for the movie to have been out for awhile before revealing maybe all the inclusions. Without spoiling anything, I think this is why The Bat has not been put up for preorder or had more promotional shots to it. At the same time though we have known forever that he detonates stuff and holds up the Dent poster so I could be wrong :/

Those bits will come with the 2nd Bane version -- crossing guard version (or whatever he's wearing).

First figures out of the gate for a big movie like this are always light on extras and sell because of the gotta-have-it mentality. The next fig will have more, to make you want to get it too. Always has to have a little more each time. Like dating, you get a litttttttttle closer each time.

Yeah, Bane really needs more accessoires. The detonator and Dent picture are the most needed IMO. Both were used in the outfit they are giving us and there is no excuse not to have them included, especially at the price point.

In order for HT to include the Dent poster, they would have to pay for the likeness rights for Ekhart on top of the rights of Hardy. (even if his face is covered, they are using his name) Having 2 actors on one product, they would have to raise the price.

Movie was INCREDIBLE- exhausting and in the last twenty minutes seat of your pants seat gripping...you didn't know what was coming next. Sort of a Nolan Batman jacked up in tension and on a scale that makes most movies look like high school plays.
I want this figure SO bad now!
