except I went for just robo and not the chair gimmick
I'm getting the gimmick with mine
Wish it would come already

On a side nite, just ordered necas spring holstered robocop for my son, and it's a fantastic figure
U Get an accurate version for $20

Well that's a bit extreme. I'm annoyed about the voice on ED but he was getting bought regardless of any sound feature. Same with Robocop.

Regarding JEDSTER's diorama - astounding. I did make interest known previously but to be honest I'm having a hard time deciding if I actually should go down any sort of custom/diorama road with Robocop, cool though it would be. :gah: To date I've only bought Terminator customs and dioramas and the sensible part of me says I should go no further than that. The other part is saying ''yeah but look at that! Look!!!''

Thanks man.
My motto in life when it comes to buying stuff is... "If you like it, buy it."

Always better to buy it rather than missing out later on down the line.

- BEHIND THE SCENE -

I am building the Charging Station (cage) for 1:6 scale RoboCop.

This project is still in progress. But I thought I would pump out some interest if I update you guys on what's been going on.

Enjoy !!!!

Wow that looks amazing! :clap

I wish Hot Toys would make dioramas like these instead of those horrible cardboard backdrops :yuck

Just because you didn't like IM 3? I hope I never piss you off, you might never forgive me.:wink1:

no I just honestly don't think I would like any more of Shane Black's films. And I did see Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, and as promising as that made him appear to be, IM3 undid all of it. It was bad decision after bad decision:

Putting that kid in the movie which had no impact on the story at all, A child walking around with a complete stranger who literally fell out of the sky, parents not concerned, Takes the kid right into a gun fight, Because "Oh, people are trying to kill me", the Mandarin is not the Mandarin, no magic rings, Killian is a doofus, no War Machine, The president gets kidnapped and no response from the government no seal team six, just nothing. Plausible. Trevor getting more attention than all the Armors, Tony not using all those armors to defend his own house, Its Christmas because, blow everything up, You blew up Igor, was Igor still holding up the crane when that happened? and finally DON'T *Don't* use the giant laser cannon you've been parading around this whole time at all. Unconventional, would not have predicted any of it.

I remember thinking "wow, I don't like any of this guys ideas, I don't like how he thinks. He made every wrong choice. Hes very consistent. He never wavered. Good for him."

Do u guys think it is possible for Hot Toys to release a 1/4 version of this? Enterbays lacks the blue tint, not to mention is cheap looking and PCS's one looks like it from a cartoon and thus, lacks any realism at all, including the armor. This 1/6th proto looks like the real thing but just shrunken down.

Man...its just incredible what people can produce. Although I'm still at 'no' status to be honest. 2 years ago I would have been a definite yes but things have changed with me. Its a rapidly developing situation where I felt confident enough initially to say 'maybe yes' not so long ago, very recently in fact, but now I'm thinking that I just can't. One shouldn't always give in to one's wants. I can 'want' a lot of things. I've experienced it so many times where you buy something you want, but then immediately something you really really really want comes up, you buy that too, and before you know it you're balls deep in debt. I've had my fill of that. Credit to my toy collecting brothers of self restraint who are knowingly or unknowingly helping to inform my attitude today, guys like Endosickness and Difabio. Not that there's anything wrong with the rest of you lads, it's all about what you feel you can do at that particular point in your lives. Right now, I feel restraint (except when it comes to Terminator) is the order of my 30s.

drunk post^ but sure **** it! :D
