I would imagine it'd be in a box similar to a War Machine Mark II or Iron Patriot. About the same size as the Loki's in this picture.

Oh that's right there was already a pic of it with the box, how could I miss that? Now I feel quite stupid. :slap

Nevertheless, that is a pretty wide box though. Actually bigger and wider than I expected it to be.

robocop on the chair = one product delivered by one company. like a set delivered by OCP, like there is no "he" there but just a piece of machinery in a bigger installation. that's an inevitable "pose #1" for this character for me, with smiling helmetless human being "pose #last" (i mean his smile in the movie).
my robocops display will be:
- sitting dormant
- acting in the street
- fighting ED
- full BD
from electronic goods to a self-aware man.

That's a lot of figures. So you are getting four Robocop figures? :horror

The chair is a worthless accessory. Sitting in a chair and spazzing out isn't exactly heroic and desirable as far as display goes.

He doesn't have to be spazzing out though, in Robocop 2 he is often seen sitting in the chair without the helmet, and IMO the BD Robo would suit the chair the best.

Besides, I bet it's cheap plastic and fragile as ****. Having a diecast figure sitting in it may not be the best idea. Now the jars of baby food and Cobra Assault cannon? Those are important, bad ass accessories (and won't run the cost up like that damn $125 chair).

That's a good point.

I wonder if this was delayed by a shoulder joint modification due to a design flaw similar to the XLII. I sure hope we see him next week.

I'm just glad HT gave the option to purchase the figure by itself. I never had a desire to want the chair. I'll pose my Robocop standing and aiming his gun.

I like that idea. I was hoping the version without the helmet would be a part 2 to put in the chair for that very reason, but until they make one, I can see using the BD kind of like a "what happened after the credits" moment.

Ugh! I really wished they ship him now! It's been a long wait!
Anyone know if it'll be next week? SSC still states August [emoji20]

Ya, No chair for me. Nicely painted Diecast metal figure scratching the **** out of whatever ultra porous (brittle) cheap plastic they use is ALSO not my idea of a good time.
He's gonna be displayed "YOUR MOVE CREEP" style.

I passed on the chair mainly because I don't want my Robocop displayed sitting. It's cool that they produced it but even cooler that they gave the option to buy Robocop without it.

:exactly:

:hi5:

That box is for both the figure and the chair. If you're getting just the figure, the box will likely be the size of the MK II War Machine's or Iron Patriot's.

Yes I knew that because there was a picture of the chair and Robo one it. It was still bigger than I expected though.

So has the face sculpt (below the helmet obviously) changed since the prototype? as others have pointed out he looks like he is allergic to something.

Big difference between the above and this:
