How far are the mouth pieces supposed to slide down? I feel like it's too high as the helmet is covering a good portion of the top of his mouth. Does anyone have pics of the different mouths?

You can actually unclip the chin strap like a football helmet so to speak. Id stay clear of sliding the swap out faces down into the chin strap when its tight. You can rub the paint off.

I think DiFabio reported that even if you swing the chinstrap over to the side, slide the mouthplates in and pull the strap back over you could still rub some of the paint off of the chin. 
Picked mine up today.
The packaging and the figure are both excellent, but the colour is wrong wrong wrong, and as I said would happen, the "crispness" of the dc pieces is noticeably less than the plastic parts.
This figure could have been a contender for figure of the decade.

Thanks man! They are just the Ikea dioder led strip lights - the colour changing ones on the cool white setting

Yeah i think it was just the natural light and the leds making it appear more blue than it is
The cool white is blue white instead of the warm yellow light, so it will have had a blueish tone

I like how the purple tint is there but only subtly so, very nicely done.
I don´t know...he looks good...but...it´s not as great as your R2 repaint.
The colors are there, but he´s too bright for those...he needs to get more toward a metallic anthracite, you know?
