Of course... when I look back at the original preview pics, I still can't help but wish I had that instead. :(

what details are your referencing?

Lots of little things. Rivets and greebles misplaced or entirely missing on the EB vs HT, shape of the knee joints, helmet and chinguard, curvature of the upper arm, length of the bicep-shaped casings, back details, rubber joint housings, etc. I don't have time right now but to put this to bed once and for all, I'll go through all the photos I can get of the HT, EB and original suit in all three films sometime in the next few days and make some comparison infographics.

That would be great
I know the eb' back is more accurate to the screen, in how much of the black rubber shows and I also know the ht version has large gaps in the groin and knee compared to the eb version

Ht helmet wins
I initially thought that rubber chin guard on the eb version wasn't accurate until I saw robo 2, where it more resembles the eb version over the ht version
Might be comparing different versions of robo

Front of the chinguard is actually 100% accurate to Robocop 3, the film they licensed. It's deeper to accommodate the new actor's larger chin/jaw. That said it's slightly too wide and doesn't sweep down correctly where it connects to the back of the jawbone. One thing that really bugs me about the EB version I've never seen anyone talk about is his enormous crotch. It's too long.

Enough moaning from me for the time being, though. They're both excellent figures in their own right but as I said I'll be creating some kind of infographic soon to show who did what better and where.

Wow, that Dark_Spidey repaint looks great. Odd he went full on Robocop 2 but still, looks wicked.

Loving them photos EndoSickness. I hope to do some ED209 poses myself this weekend.

I will say that having both Enterbay and Hot Toys, the Enterbay is more screen accurate but the Hot Toys is a better action figure.

Thx, Eamon. He´s a beast to photograph. ED as well as Murphy. Can´t believe I finally have those 2 characters.
Way to much time went into that. My first 2 RoboCop figures.
:yess:

Amazing photos Endo, your shots look fantastic, looks like you took a page from the movie by taking pics looking up at him just like in the film as it making him appear larger and more intimidating:clap:clap:clap

Thx, Pete.
That´s look I wanted to go for. With those extendable joints you just can achieve great stances and bulkiness.
:duff.

Thx btw to the one who repped me.
:hi5:

Mine showed up today. Rubber and overall quality is great.

Hands down an AWESOME figure and one of HT's best to date.:clap

I snapped a few quick pics...not trying to be fancy.

Thank you!

p.s. Quick question does the gun slide back and the clip come out?

Hi everybody!

i have noticed after switch on the sound effect funkction after some waiting the remote not working. After switch again to off\on on Robocop, sound is again working.

This is normal if im switch to On? sound is timeout?

Not practical, because now everbody need remove again and again the back panel to get sound:|

My Robo came yesterday!!!!! I am so happy! This is one of my grail pieces, and I'm so happy to have it. I took some pictures with my crappy camera, and I'm so excited to share.

With the 7" McFarlane RoboCop

Did I mention I'm happy?

It's always a good thing to be happy, nice to see that you are as well..., quite a few negative things being said about this figure SO I'm pleased when someone says otherwise (still waiting for mine as I bought it from a retailer). :)
