You will notice the weight of this fig in hand. I was sorting my lights & cleaning down my detolfs and figs the other day and when I picked up Robo, I said to myself your one heavy sob.
He is an amazing piece though, the only niggle is the colour is not quite right, needs to be a little more blue imo.
I might of got the new ED-209 but the problems with the deteriorating dome put me off.

Yeah I'm really looking forward to it. And i agree, the colour should be a bit more blue. But it's only a minor niggle :)

I was too young to see movies like Robocop, Predator, Aliens, Total Recall, at the theatre (born in 1983) but I love them! I watched Predators (Adrian Brody) last night on the TV, it was a good movie but it cant hold a candle to 1987 Predator.

Yeah totally agree on predators. It's watchable. But compare it to the original, not a patch. Same goes for the robocop reboot!

The Robocop remake is on my top 5 worst remakes ever list. They took everything that made the original special and did basically the exact opposite.

Haha nah man I'm 24! My dads got good taste in films! Brought me up on all the good stuff ha, still kinda want a classic predator....

Lol, my Daughter is 24. I raised her the same way!

It was such a letdown. I could have handled it if it was just a run of the mill sci fi movie and not affiliated with Robo.

Sometimes I feel really lucky to have grown up when I did, Star Wars at the theater, all the Arnold goodness, Spielberg, Cameron, 80s in general. Ninjas and Chuck Norris....etc...etc...

1987 Robocop, The Empire Strikes Back, Terminator 2, The Predator...all of those shaped my childhood. Glad I was able to get an amazing figure set of characters from those films.

yeah i agree growing up in the 80s was a magical time not only in terms of the decade but the movies were very special back then. I think its a time when they bascially had the best storylines and weren't overreleliant on special effects although the effects were still good. I remember watching all the great 80s movies as a child, back to the future, star wars, indiana jones, the goonies, superman, jaws, all timeless classics.

I delayed and delayed watching it given my absolute adoration for the original.

When I finally saw it, i actually enjoyed it. It covered many interesting and relevant themes of today. It didn't have the violence or humor of the original, and I didn't like the suit as much, but I wasn't expecting it to be the same. In fact, I'm glad that it wasn't the same in a lot of respects.

It was such a letdown. I could have handled it if it was just a run of the mill sci fi movie and not affiliated with Robo.

He is here, and he is awesome. Really glad I pulled the trigger.

Congratulations rogers!
Nice photos!

He is one heavy dude, the only figure I use a stand for.

Cheers guys :) Well happy with it! Love the battle damaged head with the eye showing, class! Only gripes are no ankle pivot and no gun holding hand. But with a little patience they aren't really problems at all

I may be burned at the stake for this, but I bought an extra hand and gun on ebay and glued the gun to it. Instant gun hand with zero frustration.
