Thank for the review, Clipper! Very in depth and informative. I see what you mean with the glossy eyes and the "about to sneeze" look when up close haha, but I still think that sculpt is 100% MJF through and through. Can't wait for my figure! Not sure if this review eases the wait time or makes it harder. :lol

It's a great sculpt. Much better in hand than in blogger pictures. The only person I've seen capture it properly so far has been Stealth in his pics.
Is it perfect? No. It hits that uncanny valley thing, where it's so good any minor inaccuracies jump out.

Good enough for me!

Yeah I agree , the thing that took me aback was just how accurate it looks from a certain distance, I've never really picked that up about a figure before. The hong Kong bloggers did it no justice this time. I also agree that stealths pictures caught it perfectly

Cheers guys glad you liked the pic and though i did some justice to the sculpt. As you say its not 100% but its damn good. The smallest detail i find the coolest is the wheels having wear on them lol

Ah the familiar sight of Timcent packaging. Congrats Shells, who is notably not posting right now, whoever knows why.

My tracking now says ''released from customs''.....I didn't know it was in customs. Hopefully the same result as Rorywan and nothing will have been charged.

So everyone that has him in hand, are you satisfied with the head sculpt? Those blogger photos are just not doing it for me, especially with a facial expression that really only works posing him with the DeLorean and checking his watch. I wish they'd gone with something more neutral.

Yea, I'm not digging the HS at all so far - it's the hair so neatly combed in combo with the square - instead of triangular - jaw line that's killing it for me. But I'm going to wait til I get it in hand to pass judgment, as there is a difference with scale. Your eye does something in hand with an inherent understanding of the smaller scale that doesn't really happen with photos online. I think the brain translates the photos into full scale, even when the logical part of our mind understands that's not true. Anyway, hoping that in hand he does more for me than he has in photos so far.
