Oh maz, you don't know whether I'm trolling or not, do you? :lol

Nah...I'm using the AoU avy and sig because quite a few of my friends here are Marvel fans. Brainiac and greygoose are also very talented and I wanted to recognize their efforts.

I'm not a Marvel fanboy...I like both Marvel and DC about equally. Marvel handing DC its lunch at the moment is not something I'm rooting for...it's actually quite disconcerting. HT is making too many damn Iron Men and I can't wait for DX15 to finally go up for PO. As well as a Nurse Joker and another Begins suit.

I'd also very much like a Clarence Boddicker and a John McClane and Hans Gruber, not to mention more figures from '80s action and sci-fi properties. But I'm not holding my breath.

I'm also a huge DC and Marvel fan (Marvel probably slightly edging DC out based on my lifetime love of X-Men and Spider-Man), and it pains me to see Snyder et al. fumbling the ball so badly. I saw a trailer on Facebook trying to promote their Flash and Arrow TV shows, and it came across as so cheesy and low-rent. I haven't watched those shows enough to know if the commercials represent the shows themselves, but when you compare that to something like Daredevil--possibly the best live action comic show ever, and rivaling the better movies of the last few years? Sad. DC does animated really well though! Or at least, used to, before the influx of the superficial and creatively bankrupt Nu-52 stuff. :(

The Hulk is probably my favorite superhero, followed by Superman, Batman and Wolverine.

If you were calling the shots, who would produce DC's movies? Who would direct them? Even if Chris Nolan (never mind MoS, :lol) wanted to produce all of them, would you let him?

Negative. Nolan's general approach is just too niche and inappropriate for many DC characters IMO. I don't know enough about the abilities or inabilities of various producers to say who would be best suited to that job, but I wouldn't be against someone with the sensibilities and sense of Paul Dini and Bruce Timm to do it. Or Kevin Feige! Directors should be chosen based on the subject matter, and in that sense, Nolan is a great fit for Batman, and Ayer is even a great choice for Suicide Squad. Del Toro would be perfect for Dark Justice League, Swamp Thing, Deadman, etc. Even Snyder could be OK for JLA, but they should have a good dramatic director on hand as second unit director, and shouldn't go anywhere near the script. If he wants to Sucker Punch or Man of Steel one of the films, give him Infinity, Inc., since no one would care much about the approach taken there. They are close to having the right pieces in place in some of these circumstances, but Goyer and Snyder just aren't good for Superman, or anything else that matters IMO.

Not sure if this has been posted, saw it on FB. It helps the sculpt I like it.

Some people just have too much time on their hands.:lol

No wonder doc brown hasn't been announced, people are lined up around the corner to buy a $350 iron man fig they didn't want 6 months ago for $260. This one says exclusive on the box.

bran, you've got to see things from our perspective. ;) Imagine if HT made one Iron Man figure a year, a Cap every three years, a Thor every five and that was it.

Meanwhile, it cranked out a Cavill Superman once a month and an Affleck Batman every other month. And it made one Gadot Wonder Woman a year. :lol

I would have A LOT of spare change :lol

I understand the hate for Marvel but in the Marty thread out of the blue? It's just a little uncalled for. In the respective Marvel threads sure i get the hate :lol

I don't know, I think the hate (it's more frustration than anything else) is understandable. It sort of bled over into this thread because Marty's the one notable non-Marvel release in recent memory.

Yeah, not to mention the only one that not Marvel related in the coming soon pic.

Yeah it's understandable. I'm still waiting to see Raiden for MGR.
