well i havent received an email thru SSC about marty but I did order thru Animarket saying its ready to ship, but its the regular version and its $167 balance $35 shipping plus $42 deposit that I paid already... doesnt make sense to get it thru them. Think im going to have to lose my deposit:( . Thought about getting it and putting it on ebay but after fees I think i would only break even if not lose a little at what Ive seen them on sell for.

Thats what im wondering, because doesnt that fall under false advertising, is that not considered some form of bait & switch or very bad business etiquette? If I were to purchase this now and it says $10 flat rate shipping I would assume there liable for what they advertise, it doesnt say estimated. But what can one do.:(

I just did a live chat with Elisse at SSC and she said the exclusive Marty (which I bought) did not have the flat rate shipping. The non-exclusive does. I don't really care I just want Marty to get here!

That guitar must have some weight to it! :rolleyes2

Really excited for this guy now. I was losing interest there for a bit but now it's back! Ready for tomorrow's shipment finally.

You know, I thought about it long and hard and this move by Sideshow caused be to go ahead and cancel my PO for the Exclusive. Since the EX went on waitlist on the first day, we were never able to use a coupon for the EX. And now the increased shipping for the EX when the normal release is a flat 10 is a dirty trick. So I canceled by PO. If I re-order it I will be able to use a $20 coupon and get the cheaper shipping saving myself about $30 in total. I don't think the EX in this case is worth $30. At least, not for me it isn't.

Interesting they charge more shipping just for the exclusive. That explains the discrepancy I was dealing with when my Exclusive Star-Lord cost around 18 bucks to ship, and the Captain America/Steve Rogers 2 pack (no exclusive available) was the $10 flat. That's pretty shady.

Wow when did Sideshow start pulling this sneaky s**t? So they are telling me since I was there on time day 1 and ordered one of their exclusive items I have to pay more in shipping??? Hmmm which part of my *** would I like them to kiss -_- Not playing this game, selling this EX off when I get him and will order the reg cheaper down the road. Frankly Im fed up with HT pricing and now Sideshows tactics, dont see a long future with me supporting either of these companies anymore.

I'm out after this one. I am getting gouged to death on prices alone and now on shipping? I have been collecting a long time and I can say that it won't hurt me to collect NECA or something else, given their quality is catching up, anyway, and they don't fall apart when you look at them wrong..

Bingo. :lecture

well, Sideshow shipped my figure yesterday and it still had two flex payments left, and then later today charged me for the whole remaining amount. I didnt authorized the payment nor the shipping. I called them and asked them why they shipped it and charged me later for the mistake. The Cs lady didnt know why they did that, I told them the my budget was limited to two payments, Marty and Arkham Batman which they charged too. I told her to refund the payment for Batman and charge it on june and july since the figure is not available and she said that I had to cancel my order and refund the full amount and the order it again with the NRD.

Did you order the exclusive or the regular?

I hear you guys, close to $20 in shipping blows. I've been out of the loop, why is shipping so much for this figure? It's not like it's diecast or oversized or anything like that.

shipping for me has always been $20, the armory was $36. I live in Puerto Rico so I expect that shipping amount. I once sent a Package through USPS for a Bane figure and it costed me $35 to Alabama.
