I don't know. Something about this just doesn't WOW me like I wish it would. Such an iconic Mark suit and it's their 20th time doing this suit yet they still miss out on details.

The paint is still off. They don't even bother trying to get the Mark 3 red right.

The head proportion on this also looks wonky. Looks bigger than it should be giving it a bit of a bobble headed look.

To top it off, they STILL get the missile incorrect on his forearm. :dunno Really wanted this to come out better since they've butchered their 1/6 Mark 3 but it's not looking the best it can be.

Would like to see some in-hand photos though.

I need to see some in-hand pictures. Almost impossible to tell the tru me paint color/finish and detailing in the heavily photoshopped release pics. As per usual.

Uh, I don't know. It looks good in some pictures but not so much in others. Almost reminds me as the first few versions of the Mark III by HT, skinny legs and all. Regardless here are some good shots of it:

It definitely doesn?t have the matte finish from the prototype. Don?t know why they can get that right on the new Mk 7 but not this??

Jeez yeah the color and finish are all over the place in these pics, so hard to tell what it will really look like in hand. But it's a safe bet it will be the same red as on the last few diecasts, which I can live with. As long as it's not the bright *** red of the 1/6 version.

And it does look pretty damn awesome in these shots:

I had a feeling they'd turf out on the color, damn shame, and the shine is quite a step down from the latest proto. I don't know why they bothered with that battle damaged chest, looks atrocious for the scale. I'll be waiting to see how the Mk2 fares instead

Yep! Now to decide if I want to go down the 1/4 scale rabbit hole. A mark 3 1/4 by itself would be a great tribute

If there's only space for a 1/4 scale Iron Man this suit is as iconic as it gets.

Hate that it isn't closer to the more maroon palette like its on screen counterpart. I don't care what shade it is in the actual prop suit, I want it to be exact to its on screen look.

I should really wait for more "real world' pictures but based on these ones to say I'm disappointed would be an understatement. This should have been the king of the Mk3's, but with the glossy paint and wrong faceplate....how many times can HT get so close to the perfect Mk3 and still miss?

REALLY hoping they've done away with the "butt button" for the drop down legs and only* have the pull down feature on this (and all 1/4 suits going forward)
Hate that stupid drop down feature as it looks awful and sucks compared to individual pull down

I think with how the VII came out, was I?d be impressed if this III was sixth scale. I mean it does look great and tempting. I love the MK3.
But I think I?ll stick with my DC MKIII.

...aaaaaand the bit under the neck detail has been filled in. Not a big deal in any way but FFS HT, make the changes that actually need them.

....aaaaaannnd the Battle Damaged parts. Hard to notice in these photos but it?s clear to me they will look extremely out of place on the figure. There?s just this one section with a ton of B/D surrounded but the clean figure.
