People canceling orders of this cap for winged cap??
It?s a tactic..
now they won?t allow it to be purchased using reward points.
no longer an option
they did it with original armor Mando this way too.
got me on that one. . I was waiting for points to mature and it sold out and when it came pack it was no points allowed ..
Wow not allowing points is a new low for them. Didn't know they were doing that nowadays. Pretty lame of them.
I dunno man, I added one to my cart just to test that theory and they let me add my whopping $5 in reward points. Are you thinking of coupon codes? It?s a tactic..

A retailer like Sideshow doesn't gain anything by artificially limiting demand or lying about availability.

I ran into point limitations trying to get the Asmus Aragorn exclusive, I guess now it's expanded to other items. I get why the exclusive isn't an option but I wonder what's the justification with Cap?
I wonder how long before they start doing that crap more often, limiting what points can be used on. They really will lose a lot of customers that way.
That's how it used to be anyway, you could use points or promos/coupons but not both. Or use a coupon and you wouldn't earn points on the entire amount. No points used on waitlist conversions. Using points used to be quite a calculus of savings gained vs. savings lost. They made it much friendlier, but clearly too much so as they added the expiration date feature. Now points will only be worth anything if you regularly make purchases and you redeem paltry accrued amounts that won't even offset shipping.
Hard to believe we are almost in May and Sideshow still hasn't gotten him in yet to ship out. Hopefully we start to get emails soon.
I seriously doubt it's a "tactic."
Either enough people canceled their pre-orders, or Hot Toys informed Sideshow that their production run will be larger than they originally planned.

I guess I don't fully understand the problem at the ports. Without knowing the full scope of things, can they not hire a mass influx of temp workers to get caught up? Some jobs just need manpower, not specific trade knowledge.
There have to be people needing work in the big cities on the coast, unless the issue isn't lack of manpower. Sounds like management at places I've worked at though. Understaffed with pressure on the drone workers, but the higher ups don't do much to change anything.
