Honestly it's very hard to find just the plastic star on its own. You'll have to pull it from another figure or a loose uniform. And prices are pretty high unfortunately for loose uniforms. I was searching for a few weeks and decided the cost wasn't worth it. There's one on ebay for around $80 here:

Good question! Aside from the usual suspects that sell parted out pieces and obviously eBay, I’ve never seen a 3rd party make the star.
OSK does have a few versions of the chopped up shield for PO (and 1 that might be sold out) made from diecast so at least there’s that. I had the old broken shield but it was made for AoU (Tony’s vision) and had only 1 strap IIRC.
This is sick man!
I'm very tempted to just pick up IW Cap and do this.
I think the grimier look of IW also helps with Endgame look. The HT EG Cap is too clean.
I'm really not impressed with what I'm seeing with HT EG Cap pics and I'm with the
group of people that are hoping that somehow HT fixes it before release.
But seeing those already released EG Cap, its doubtful.

Best custom I’ve seen thus far.
Even if HT makes some improvements for the final release, I still think this custom (and many of the other ones) will end up being better than what they put out.
As was mentioned, I think the dirtier look of the IW suit also helps sell the EG look as well.

Custom of my Captain finally finished (for the last time) I'm like crazy in front of. HaHa
In addition to having recently added the bottom of the sleeves, I added the belt and braces of the Civil War version to make it look more like the Endgame version.
I took the first photo without intention and I think it looks like a photo of the real product taken on the lookout. HaHa

Incredible. HT should have kept this chest even if the scales weren?t 100% accurate.
May I ask where you sourced the additional fabric for the lower forearms? Was thinking of missing mine, and thought maybe could take off the boots and cut some of the fabric off the lower leg and use that since the boots would cover it up.

I'd rather have your custom than HT's prototype, that's for sure. Here's hoping the final product closes the gap a little...
