Keeping Infinity War Thor and will just find this headsculpt a la carte.

Exactly what I'm planning to do mate - and pick up a more accurate Stormbreaker too!

I tend to agree, but I looked at the IW version and that's $267. So for about $10 more you're getting Mjolnir too and then electronics with both weapons and the chest. I'm sure that's what's raising the price more than anything. I'm not really happy with that high of a price either.

True, but the Infinity War Thor came with the lightening chest as well as a pair of swap out bare arms so you could have more looks (and the eye-patch though that is negligible)

Sculpt looks good. POing this and Hulk. So what else is left? I'd like to see Valkyrie with Pegasus, Captain Marvel and Okeyo. Also would be nice if HT produced the Black Order.

POed EG Thor. Lebowski Thor would have been cool too, but honestly prefer this for the EG battle shelf.

EG Captain Marvel would be low priority for me. The solo movie version will be sufficient for my displays.

Valkyrie then Okeyo and then the Black Order would be much more preferred to me.

I?ve got some pre-orders (Mark 7, R2, Widow) to wrap-up but a combination of price creep and having most of my must-haves has taken me almost completely out of the game.

I say *almost* because one never knows, but there?s not a hell of a lot left for me. If everything wasn?t CAD$400+ I may think differently...

I agree, Endgame feels like a natural stopping point for the most part on collecting Marvel Hot Toys.
There will be exceptions, but I'm thinking of slowing down after these pre-orders are fulfilled.

The danger for me is if they start diving deeper into different DC lines especially Batman like the Arkhamverse, Batman Returns (Catwoman and Penguin), Phoenix's Joker, the Nolanverse villains (Scarecrow with a Cillian Murphy sculpt and Ra's Al Ghul)
................and if the Pattinson films are good then I'm *****ked!

I hope they continue with Horror characters like Pennywise though...

Given Marvel's P4 plans, the license will likely cool a bit. And after Ep9 the Star Wars license will probably cool as well. So during that break, maybe HT will finally get back to some of its neglected licenses. P5 is no doubt going to bring MCU's F4 and X-Men.

How are the light-up Stormbreaker and Mjolnir going to look if you don't turn on the batteries? Are they clear? You can't really tell by the promo photos.

The only thing that may sway me is Batman Returns but I really think that ship has sailed.

Couple of OT Star Wars characters maybe? But they?d have to be home runs. Luckily I?m not a completist.

I forgot about the Pattinson film! I?m not confident it will be good, to be honest...but one never knows.

The costume would have to be really cool and not overly grounded and ?tactical? ? I?ve had enough of that style.

Yea I don't know what ppl are talking about. If anything HT may end up ramping up the marvel figures/ license. A potential new widow, 1 or 2 characters from eternals, shang chi, a new dr strange, 2 potential different wandas for WV and MoM, maybe a even a new vision, Thor and Jane foster Thor, all the disney plus shows they will most definitely tap(a new loki, she hulk, moon knight, ms marvel, 2 different potential hawkeyes, a new falcon and winter soldier), AND thats not to mention the sure hits coming like the Gotg3 line ups and another black panther for the sequel. Also not including the films on the horizon that will have figures like Blade, the inevitable mcu FF4 and xmen line.

Hell there are even rumors of Nova and more cosmic characters (fingers crossed for a silver surfer). Yea i don't see them cooling down on pumping figs out as long as there are marvel fans that will by them. Especially if each property is a hit. After HT acutally went through with making a hellboy fig from a film that was one of the biggest flops of the yr...there is no way in hell they wont mine every upcoming mcu property to hell and back lol.

Don’t forget AoU. Depending on how many more releases we see for Endgame, AoU might still retain the crown for most figures per movie.

Never said any of the individual properties will have a lineup as big as IW or EG. That would be ridiculous. The point i made is that they have a very deep well ahead when you combine the potential for all releases. Especially as next yr is the release of endgame figures. Yr after that will be the rest of the EG armors as well as some things for widow and eternals peppered with falcon and tws. Thats already nearly 6 or 7 potentially in 2021 after most of the EG line comes out next yr. There will be plenty of figures every yr for awhile. The gap wont be as noticeable as one would think. If at all depending on how they are spaced out. The mcu isnt just stopping. In fact they are doubling down. If marvel studios skipped a yr with no content, then there would be a huge gap in terms of released figures. But there are still plenty of properties coming out every yr. 3 alone next year. Hell 3 Disney plus shows dont even have a date yet so another one of them could also pop up next yr as well for all we know.

Don't forget there are other things coming besides Marvel and Star Wars like the Terminator, Harley Quinn, Wonder Woman, etc. They will be busy as always
