If you never knew about endgame and you saw this fig for the first time, you wouldn't really think this is supposed to be "fat" thor

Either way the sculpt looks phenomenal and i love stormbreaker. Cant wait to get this. Tho they really should adjust the shoulder sockets lol

For reference his gut does poke out more


Looks more in line with the promo material which didnt really have much of a gut.
Stormbreaker is still an inch or so too short but hey

I have two of these on preorder, I love fat Thor...he just seems more like a Viking this way.

But...

He definitey does look more like ?stocky Thor? and not ?fat Thor? here.. should we sockets need to be fixed; looks amateur. Also the hair looks just a bit to flat...almost like he is meant to wear a helmet or something.

If they fix those three things, this would be an A+ figure.

It normally doesn?t have those shoulder gaps. Who ever posed him didn?t think to slot the arms up.

I hope that's true I was just watching a video of the Tokyo Comic-Con and I noticed that the hair meets the shoulder pads on this armor and I was thinking that if the armor was pushed down then the hair would just be curled hair floating in mid-air. It could also be that the armor being pushed up as actually pushed the hair up.

At some point gonna order this no matter what, but something is off for me about the sculpt. Maybe too puffy or the beard is too squared off and the hair too flat. I dunno. The whole head looks too squared off, or something. But it's EG Thor and I gotta have him.

I'm on the other hand love everything about endgame thor but I have a rule of one per character and trying to find all the reasons not to PO him.
Though I do feel the sculpt is a bit off... He is a bit too puffy and something is off with the beard and hair too. To be honest I don't have a lot of long haired toys either. I find the hair is making the figure off... Whether it's rooted or sculpted, there's always something off imo.

I think in one of the special features they show he wore mouthpieces to puff his cheeks.

I've been debating between this one and the IW Thor (I like to keep my collection to one version of each character) but I think those photos just sold me. I loved his whole like norse ginormous dwarf look and I really want a Thor with the two colored eyes to match my dog, lol.

With Taika confirming fat thor is basically done with, this guy is essentially a one off design wise. I really prefer a muscle bound Thor.. However I do love the long beard / hair, big bodied viking look


Both in the film and on the figure. Most importantly I NEED that accurate Stormbreaker. The Bad Tomato one is a good place holder but this new looks damn near perfect. I'm getting really antsy look at pics of the proper one compared to what we have now


I think overall it's an upgrade from the IW version. I know some are still on the fence and may think of waiting for Love and Thunder. But with that film now deep into 2022 and any figure from it not popping up until 2023 at the earliest... I dunno that's a long damn time away lol. That's assuming you like his look in L&T at all to begin with. Hmm..
