The sleeves are just part of a shirt, and yes you can remove it rather easily without causing any damage.

Since it 2 shields with Cap... how about 2 Hammers for Thor... one for accuracy/show... being real metal/diecast...

the other being plastic. for posing... makes it light-up .. charge/discharge lightning:

I'm not even a fan of Thor, but if the figure is awesome and I like him in the Avengers then I'll most likely get him along with Hulk & Captain America. I already have Mark's IV, V & VI so I don't think I'll be needing any more of Iron Man.

Hopefully the old costume will be able to fit on the new body so I can swap that out as well or may just sell. I'm pretty disappointed in the lack of a movie Thor version of Loki.
