You'll be wowed! The figure's suit is so intricate, and the MBJ head sculpt is super hot fire!
If you're going to continue to be so unenthusiastic about every figure, perhaps this hobby isn't for you.

Not sure this has been posted, and not sure of price, but GeeWhiz customs has a Tactical set for anyone looking.

$535 + $25 S/H. Includes Vest, Chest Harness System with Custom Printed Straps, Painted Resin Armor Plates and Buckles, Blue Long Sleeve Shirt, & Camo Pants.
That's absurd.

Right. Not taking anything away from the time and skill it takes to make things, but like you said....the cost of two whole figures from HT. Then you need to go buy a body, a headsculpt, and all of the weapons as well.Yeah, I get that it takes time, skill and resources to make these custom outfits but I don't know where they get off charging what amounts to 2 whole figures.
Figured as much. I inquired about pricing on one of their other outfits (that was less involved than this one) a while back and it was something like $450 with no body or head sculpt. The wait for a reasonably priced third party release continues...
Love this figure, the one thing that kinda annoys me is how inaccurate the helmet is. The patterns appear to reflect an earlier version of the movie art.
As a mock-up, I took a photo from someone on Facebook who coloured in the gold lines and edited the HT headsculpt pattern to be accurate. I'm trying to source a loose Killmonger body to have a secondary unpowered suit.

Wow that (accurate) change looks good!
I've put together screenshots and pre and post edits to make it clearer.
You'll also notice in the Concept Art stage, A is what the movie went with, but B looks like earlier concepts, which is what Hot Toys based their head on, it's fully gold with a black wash instead of gold up top, and dark below the jaw line.

On a side note, I haven't used these forums much, how does one embed an image in a post?
