Shipping is not free. Someone else posted about $32 if I remember (few pages back). So its still a better price but not by much (depending where you live I guess).

Saves about £10 shipped but if (hoping) theres no customs (which is 20%) then we'd save about £33-37 (some couriers count the shipping as item cost, some don't in my experience) from that so about £43-47 total which would be a pretty good deal.

I just put a in stock Chewie in the cart and the standard delivery from Hong Kong Airmail was £19.

It confirms they listened to fans who insisted they make a new helmet, but listening to collectors is only part of the solution. They need to use their references, too. When they make a new helmet for ESB that in several key areas actually veers further away from the design of the screen used helmet in ESB than the helmet they made for ROTJ, that's a problem.

Agreed. I believe HT wants to get this (helmet) right, better sales for them.

This is my VERY FIRST Fett, hard to believe I know but I've been waiting forever for an Empire Fett and passed on the SS version although I thought it was a good fig. I think the final will be just fine. Hope so, Howard, stay on this... IT"S ESB FETT for chrissakes! I hate to say this but "Howard-Wan, you're my only hope."

PS Love the brown glove/yellow gauntlet alt armour and cape, why I'm getting the Deluxe. No NRD at BBTS.

Deluxe for me! Love the proto suit. That’s how I’ll display him. I have the SS for my bounty hunter line-up. This’ll go great with SS’s white armor and the upcoming Holiday Special.

Anyone try to shorten the range finder on the RotJ version? Might have to try on this one that myself.

Love this, so many cool extras in the Dx that I'd probably never use, but how can you pass up and extra helmet and gauntlets?

I saw the new photos, I'm not liking how the helmet looks on this, the face area is too long and the visor looks oddly upturned at the corners.
Compare this with the new Sideshow 1:1 bust and full sized figure, and you can see that the HT version looks off and the Sideshow versions look great.

I'd consider getting this if they fix the helmet. My Marmit Boba though is hard to beat.

I just noticed that the deluxe comes with two different looking helmets, the one that I'm not liking I think is exclusive.

I passed on the deluxe. I just don't think I would ever display him with any of those pieces. I prefer him the way he was in the movie. So the extra $30 just seemed a waste. I am excited about the standard version though!

Do you have an original 12” Kenner fig to display it with? Might be nice to show them together... I loved my Fett figure when I was a kid. Tried to find it in my parents loft years ago but no luck.

Pics of the actual preproduction fett armor before it was the iconic one we saw in ESB. Love how Hot toys decided to include them, an homage to the history of the character! As a fett fan I need that deluxe!

When I was a kid in the 90s that was at the top of my list. I couldn't find it in any store. This was before the internet. One day I saw it for sale at the flea market and I asked my mom to buy it for me. She said "No! Keep walking."
